Yeah I actually enjoy the music. Not as great as KI's music, but still really solild. I'd love if SF6 would hire Mick Gordon, but it'd never happen.

While I don't think SFV's music is bad, I was disappointed Hideki Okugawa wasn't involved cause SF3's music is straight fire.

SFV music is fine, ecxept some fuck ups (Juris theme....) but the latest track releases are good. Akumas theme is very good and the Temple theme is also nice.

I don't think Hideki Okugawa is even with the company any more; the last game he composed was RE5. Hideyuki Fukasawa did basically the entire previous gen; he did all of SF4, MVC3, and SFxTK.

I would like 3S' soundtrack a lot more if it weren't recorded with a cup and string. I remember when it originally came out and I was convinced that the same messed-up rip had somehow made it into everyone's hands. Simon Viklund's arrange was great for 3SOE, but he was also awesome on Bionic Commando: Rearmed 1&2 so that wasn't surprising.

Setting gameplay aside (...), I think 2I is the best game Capcom has ever made. The graphics, the music, the voices are all incredible. I also hold MSH in similar regard.

I think SFV Urien may be the easiest character to win with in any fighting game I've ever played. This doesn't mean he is the best or most broken, but in this particular sandbox, fuck is he just too good.

I mean.. any character? There's some pretty stupid fucking boss characters that have been playable over the years.

There was some character in CVS Chaos I played with that is comparable, but I said "characters I've played", and I certainly didn't try learning them all. Urien is just retarded easy in this game.

Again, a lot of what you are saying would be more understandable if you were not also saying "3S IS SO HYPE AND AWESOME".

I will once again impart you all with my all powerful lv.99, max merited, SF IQ knowledge:

Just like how I told you all Ryu was mid tier at best in season 1, I'll tell you right now Urien is overrated as fuck.

He suffers the same problem as Ryu from season1: garbage practical damage due to the inability to convert off a shimmy.

Damage off a shimmy is the single biggest requirement needed for a character to be an offensive monster in a game that's literally all offense.

All the set ups and gimmicks don't meant shit if you can't get your offensive pressure going to actually open the opponent up.

Urien can't open people up. He's dat nigga you simply beat by holding back to block. Urien ain't doing shit.

Just like Ryu in season 1, Urien won't win any tournaments that matter, belie' dat.

The real godlike S+ tiers of season 2 are Laura, Boxer, Cammy. Three characters that can all effortless go on the offense, press buttons, shimmy, open people up, then convert into massive practical damage.

Guile is also overrated as fuck in season 2. Will be best used as a very specific counter pick to season 2's Boxer in the same way he was used as a counter pick for season 1 Chun.

I've tried multiple times to get into SFV, but it's just lacking. Gotta agree with Welt on this one. There's a bunch of reasons, and it's definitely SF, it's just... Very toned down? It doesn't feel nearly as exciting, and even watching high level play is very yawn inducing. There's a sameness and lack of interest in it for me. And I don't think it's because of the lack of diversity among the cast.

There was a reason it was exciting to watch SF4, and there were tons of incredible character specialists. Hell, I even miss Hakan. I feel like Capcom failed to recapture the spirit of what made previous SF's great in their desire to make it more accessible, but as long as money is funneled into tournaments and such, they're not going to back down from it, but I'd bet money that down the line, people will look back and say "SFV was not bad, but..." then list every other SF game as more fun.

Pretty much everyone here feels the exact same way about SF5.

Too boring. Easy to learn, easy to master (by pro standard).

You and I were saying it since beta, being the difference. A lot of the idiots on here thought the game was actually good post release. Most of them disappeared ages ago.

Heh, sometimes you're bored and it's like "Eh, SF" >_> I've been on SF4 recently too, but it's really hit and miss for finding matches in the time I spent with it last weekend.

I was about to say the same exact thing.

I'm indifferent towards the game. I'm not against most of the changes they made coming from 4, but they've lost me on the character diversity in regards to personal play styles. Most characters can only win while played one way and it's boring as hell to play and watch. Push back on light attacks, walk speeds, and counter poking needs to be addressed or I think this game is just going to feel neutered in comparison to the other SF titles.

Either buff throw ranges or nerf back walking speed. Dear lord is it boring as hell to watch people just hold back walk as a form of defense to get out of situations. I think I'd almost rather deal with crouch tech at this point.

I like to know what I'm talking about before I post something. I can't hate on something, unless I gave it a shot. I played beta, thought it was dreadful. I played S1 for about 3 weeks, it was still dreadful. I'm giving S2 about the same go, and it is, indeed, still dreadful.

I don't know.. Urien is kind of dumb and I am already seeing Daigo, Haitani and others get bodied online by nobodies using Urien...

    then there is this
