That's a good point. SFIV had a shit ton of taunts per character. I loved some of Rufus' taunts.

Again with these ridiculous ELeague brackets.

Xian had to lose 3 times (Tokido, Fuudo, Wolfkrone) to be eliminated in bracket C. Eita had to lose 3 times (Daigo, PR Rog, Daigo again) to be eliminated from bracket B. Brolynho had to lose 3 times (Infiltration, Punk, Momochi) to be eliminated from bracket A. And in bracket D, Xiao Hai lost twice (to Chris T and Phenom) and still moved on.

I'm still going to play because I need a game to scratch my competitive itch. I may give Rev 2 a try, but learning a game is always a pain in the ass.

Can he cut it in the competitive scene? There's a lot of good players here locally. Ryan Hunter runs a biweekly tournament at my LAN center so it would be hard for me to win with scrub tactics. (Also I want him to take me seriously because he's a fucking encyclopedia)

It really depends on your playstyle, Leo's a rekka character, if you want someone similar to Ken in sf5, and dudley in sf4, i'd say pick up Ky, maybe Baiken since she has alpha counters, Sol. If you want to play a zone heavy character, go with Dizzy.

Leo is a rekka character, but he's also super based on reads and wake up pressure. Definitely up your alley given your SFV play style.

I definitely like characters with solid oki and good pressure. Baiken looks like waifu but I'm not sure what her knockdown/pressure revolves around. I don't mind playing Rekka since it would be easy to pick up, however I want someone who is scary after a knockdown. Is Baiken at all good at that or should I just maybe stick to Leo?

And I know google is my friend, but why the hell is Rev1 so expensive on Steam?? It's 49.99 but the sequel is coming out soon. Will I have to drop another 50 just to play it? And will it release same time as consoles? This is important lol

Wait out the pc bundle with rev1, but i'm pretty sure if you want to play it online a lot, ps4 maybe the way to go.

It's easier to find games in the discord for steam than it is for PS4, if your just looking for random rooms PS4 might be better.
