i played and enjoyed

sf2, Killer Instinct(snes & 64), kof95>99, Final bouts(fight), Samurai showdown, Garou MOTW, (neo geo emulators trying to download roms on 56k dial ups that was the real struggle). So does that make me OG?! (i never played in any tournament till day 1 SF4 in a gamestop tournament lol.. i picked ken and got bodied). I didnt realize this type of scene existed before that

It doesn't. It's like saying having an old car automatically makes you a vintage gearhead. Besides starting w/ x game, you'd have to be passionate about it; sacrificed and invested your time and money to improve your game. They were driven by competition.

Notable additions to what we already know:

His VSkill only has upper body invincibility.
VTrigger has 3 different versions (crouching, standing, airborne).

Air Izuna is still there.

Odd that they seem to have not fully released all the details of his special moves, ie they talk about Izuna Air drop, but have no mention of Flying Barcelona attack even though it's seen in the video. I'm assuming Crimson Terror replaces Crystal rolling flash, but I hope they have kept in Scarlet Terror (upkicks). Didn't see that in the video. We also didn't see an izuna drop in the video off of FBA, so I wonder if the air izuna is his air throw (I hope he still has one) and FBA no longer has a throw attached to it.

I'm so glad they're doing this, and adding noncharge moves to other charge characters. Charge characters were at such a huge disadvantage in SFIV just from a system engine standpoint. I'd imagine they'd be quite behind in SF5 as well, so I'm glad they are going in this direction.

The only thing I'd consider a major disadvantage was charge characters not being able to exploit the gigantic reversal window as well as characters with mashable dps.

If anything most charge characters had an advantage since their moves all started with downback, SF4's natural state.

During Super SF4, the top 6 characters in the tier list were all charge. That was deemed boring as fuck to watch, thus it was changed.

He just happened to pick the literal worst one (maybe?). Though, I don't think any character in SF4 is bad unless you go back to vanilla days. And even then, characters were only really bad because certain characters were WAY too good (Sagat/Akuma/Ryu/Viper).
