    Damage on it isn't even that high honestly. It seems like it can make for a decent pressure tool (can't really tell how negative the chains might be at the moment) but I've mostly been using it to finish off rounds or for the screen freeze to figure out a punish.

    Being forced to play pad again hurts my hands. Looks like I'm gonna have to go out and buy that TE2 after all. Unless there's a PS3/PS4/PC board out there.

    Even with TE2, had to jump through hoops to get it to work.

    It works fine now but was still needlessly roundabout.

    Hopefully this beta surprises us and I can go back to my nigga Bipson. Karin was my main in A3, but she plays nothing like it in this game and it's getting frustrating.

    EDIT: Is it safe to say I feel Makoto mains pain in SF4?

    stick with it nigga only day one lol (in a laggy ass beta lol). I Got 3 almost perfects with r.mika when the game was going perfectly. Her shit is silly in the corner


    And R.Mikas Forward MK is godlike so many people just walk into it. Can spam it from 3 feet out and they will eventually just jump on it or walk into it.

    Well I got my shit wrecked like 20 loses in a row learning from scratch Karin since she's changed a lot since A3. I found some nice things with her but I just am not very good. Practice I suppose. Plus I really need a stick I can't play pad.

    relies on a countercrush but still, almost 530 damage and 590 stun (for using all meter, lol). I really like Karin so far, and R.Mika is just the trolliest character. Pretty sure I'm undefeated with mika just counterpoking and dash up command grabs.

    It apparently only throttles the initial update when you first start the beta. So Karin/Rashid won't be playable and it won't work once the actual beta period ends.

    In regards to Karin:

    srk calling c.MP > c.MK > QCF K~P > QCF K~P for 225 as standard bnb
    However, c.MP > s.MP > variation gets betweeen 211 and 235

    Am I missing something? The links in the bnb seem overly complicated compared to the cmp>smp chain. Is it a range thing?

    c MP to c MK is 1 frame link (so 3 with the input buffer), c MP to st MP is 2 frames (so 4).

    There is more range on c MK, but if you were in range for c MP (which has awful range) you're in range for st MP from my experiences. Personally I preferred to follow the QCF+K~P launcher with her V-Skill for some bar in exchange for losing out 6 or 7 damage. Also the st MP allows QCB+LP, D+K follow up which is highest damage option without burning resources from what I've seen. c MK doesn't have enough hit stun to allow that followup

    Fucking around some more this morning/afternoon, I'm now 110% in agreement with Welt. This game will see life because Sony/Capcom will feed it cash, but the base game is pretty fucking bad.

    Honestly, I was mostly worried it was going to boring to WATCH. It is actually, also, boring to PLAY. No arcade release is strike 3. This game fucking blows.

    You have and will see people like Valle, streamers, and pros pushing it because the game is their upcoming livelihood. As someone who has a real career, this shit is a huge dud. Tons of good players have even been saying so lately after getting their hands on it.
