Street Fighter V: A Preliminary Thread

[Guitarman]

That looks like the cover for a dating sim.

[Tohmane]

I'd play that dating sim.

[AidenCarby]

Cosigning that FANG guy looks fucking terrible

[The Blackrose]

Is that an alternate cover of The Last of Us?

[Weltall]

Hah, now I want to play it!

[shidobu]

steam update for SF5?

[warc]

Steam update is out, new crack pending.....

[Chun Liroy]

I was underwhelmed by his trailer... but I'm very interested in playing him. He reminds me a lot of Venom (idk much about BB so maybe I'm out of line)

[Guitarman]

Beta is up. Ryu/Mika/Necalli playable. Ps4 version.

[Bweigelt]

It's also up on PC, and we get a dedicated training mode this time.

edit: but it still forces you into looking for match even though they have both ranked and casual matches open seperately.

[Tohmane]

He looks better in play than he did in the trailer.

Could at least get the game right.

I'm forever sad

[Krandor]

I also fail to see how he's anything like Venom.

[Xno Kappa]

Balls? I got nothing.

[Chun Liroy]

Whoops yeah. Like I said idk much about it. Venom is kinda like a trap/setup character with good pokes rather than a rush down, no? But yeah, the balls.

Guilty gear is all rushdown, turtling penalizes you. <3

[Krandor]

Well he did say he doesn't know anything about the game

He's nothing like Venom. Their only similarities are that they can use send projectiles at weird angles.

SF will never have characters as intricate (and borderline gimmicky) as GG

[Krandor]

The slightly more in depth characters anyways. For Xrd specifically characters like Sol and Leo are about as direct and simple in their game plan as can be.
