Typically retail is v1.0 with anything higher post release. Just an interesting way to go about it.

Nothing says the retail release has to follow the same numbering scheme as the beta.

Ken is just a mess. His eyebrows are like jet black and his hair looks like yellow playdough.

Most of the Asian characters are usually just portrayed with black hair, and since Ken has always been a dye job I find the coloring there excusable.

But the general model/appearance for Ken is just hideous.

Edit : Ken has basically always been portrayed with black eyebrows, though like Ryu it's more brown in some versions.

I'm worried that alot of the problems with this game as so heavily tied into the base design that they might be unfixable, much like the issues present with Fallout 4.

The whole, boring as fuck, counter fierce "OHHH DAMN!" hype is going to wear thin in a matter of 1 tournament.

its not the hair that bothers me the most or eyebrows. its just the face itself... he just doesnt look at all like Ken imho ¬.¬

the cast is okay. was really wanting to see some obscure fighters from the EX series for some reason. I've never played the ex series prob why

I'm a filthy casual when it comes to fighting games, not bad, not great. I'm not super hyped or anything for this game after the beta. I will still be getting it as it's fun to have some of my buddies over for some matches while having a few beers.

The real question is: Where do I pre-order from? I like all the costumes aside from Amazon. But it's also 20% off on Amazon. Pre-order everywhere, use the codes, return the game? lol. Probably a bit extreme, but I gotta have that Cammy/Beardryu. My favorite is dat Chun outfit, but then I can't get the Amazon discount

I really dislike the way they've been handling preorder nonsense.

Slapping the beta behind a pay wall is lame enough, but it seems like every week they announce another new edition with exclusive content. Seems counterintuitive to effectively punish those who were willing/dumb enough to throw down the money from the start.
