Slapping the beta behind a pay wall is lame enough, but it seems like every week they announce another new edition with exclusive content. Seems counterintuitive to effectively punish those who were willing/dumb enough to throw down the money from the start.

Agreed. It's like the shit SE/Eidos was doing with the new Deus Ex. That got cancelled real quick. From what I read these won't seem to be available (probably like a year later) and they're exclusive to the retailer. It's shit. If it were a costume pack, fine whatever. Still annoying. But make one costume pack for pre-ordering no matter where.

Yeah. It's pretty bullshit. I was Aqua Cammy the most, but I'm locked into Chun because it's the only one for PC version.

Most of those costumes are pretty good. Not much thought went into a few though. Mika and Zangief in particular.

Even though some of them are the pre-order DLC, the odds we will have to buy them are still probably up there.

Considering the game is copying the MOBA model for post release content and those are designed to maximize profit, the costumes will definitely be available down the line.

No, like, the cracked version for whatever reason doesn't keep track of win streaks and from what I remember from the instagram video that was up/down super fast, there were win streaks. Maybe I'm wrong? Pretty sure I'm not though.

Would it honestly matter either way? Retail version with local versus play or hacked version with local versus play.

The hacked version with local play is missing Birdie/Vega/FANG, but otherwise there really wouldn't be any difference.

Naw, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter completely. But it could matter if someone like him won the first CPT event.
