I've heard that Ono has stated that Guile will not be in the game due to his similarities to Charlie, but Charlie is seriously Rugal and Wesker's love child in this game. From a fluff perspective it makes the most sense for Guile to be in here because giving him closure with his Charlie obsession can explain why he isn't in the SF3 franchise.

I don't see why Guile wouldn't be. He can have similar moves, but he'd be a different elemental type.

Not to mention an entirely different playstyle..? Those new moves are definitely gonna mix it up quite a bit. Charlie looks like he'd play more like Decapre than Guile.

I don't see Guile being in the initial game, but it would be weird to not include him. If he isn't in the first release, he will be in the first updated version/DLC pack.

I've never liked Charlie, but this version of him looks awesome to play.

Nash's character design looks lazy as hell for someone who was supposedly dead lol. His playstyle looks boss as fuck though which is ultimately all that matters.

looks like development is off to an awesome start, I'm only concerned about character lineup at this point

I would guess 12-14 characters with 2 hidden select characters. The roster will follow very closely to SF4s timeline in term of #'s.

I'm still not a huge fan of the animation. Looks stiff and kind of slow.

I wouldn't worry about that yet, they probably don't even have all of the frames of animation created yet.
