Btw regarding Laura's LP fireball setup: If you quick rise and just mash MP SRK then it goes through her Fireball and punishes her. If it is REALLY meaty then you get a trade.

Yeah but if they just quick rise every time you never get it that meaty, it pretty much has to be off of CH sweep

Last minute random beta things:
- Gief can do TK air grab and grab some DPs
- Chun has the most anime-looking TK legs pressure
- Mika's neutral V-Trigger stops all the basic Nash teleport setups if there's any gap before the crossup
- Mika mirror matches are hilarious because nobody can ever get in
- Mika v Gief is probably the most fun matchup in this game

It won't get dropped. Capcom/Sony are going to force people to play it by paying to have USFIV removed from every major Tournament.. Because eSports

I'm jk mostly, I'm fine with all that even if I don't like the game. There's plenty of games to play and KI S3 is looking fucking awesome.

PC release of KI will likely give the game a much needed shot in the arm.

I'll definitely be willing to invest more time in the game if I can play it on the go on my laptop.

I'd try it out on PC. I got rid of my T2 X1 because no SF5.

The Brook USB converters should work fine, I'm just going to grab one for PS4 > XB1

It's not *that* bad. For what Capcom is going for, they honestly nailed it. It's just that the vast majority of the player base, having spent the last few years being heavily groomed by SFIV, are feeling exceedingly let down by the overly simplistic mechanics and playstyle of SFV.

For the time being the game is going to have to survive on the money train of Sony/Capcom, but it might be savagable in the eyes of the hardcore player base down the line.

Yep so far no one has found issues, and they pretty much have a market monopoly right now either way. Illuminati rumblings are that they'll be confirmed for EVO legal very soon.

Nah, especially considering that it's still the beginning of its lifespan. I have never really argued that the game is bad, just that it's not for me. SFIV/KI/SFxTK/BB are much closer to what fits my playstyle, but either way I'll still be playing SFV.

At very least I kinda have to as a streamer just so I know enough to hold down solo commentary when needed.

OT but is there any confirmation that KI PC will provide us all 3 seasons yet or just the first 2?

Should have all the content of the X1 version, including the season 3 stuff (it's launching the same day as Season 3 starts at last check)
