At least from all my own personal experiences Nash's Forward V Trigger doesn't have any kind of push effect if the opponent has their back to the wall. Nash will just end up in front of them but facing backwards, and most of the time too far away to land with the back edge of his jp MK.
That said fuck Nash. Grabbed the most updated hacked Beta and put in some time getting used to all of Bison's stuff. All of his buttons are so goddamn good. In the earlier beta builds his cr MK wasn't special cancelable, getting that back opens up his footsie game so much.
I know that when I was practicing my corner reset setup w/ Mika, I'd do (w/e) > 6MP+MP > [st.HK] (opponent airborne) > 2MP (triggers air tech) > VT > jump forward. Nadeshiko would come out, and she's supposed to hit crossup as I land on the other side, but I noticed that for some reason I'll sometimes land on the same side anyway. I think it has something to do with the timing, but I didn't spend too much time looking into it yet. Figured it's probably the same thing happening on the Nash setup, since it looks like the same situation. At least from all my own personal experiences Nash's Forward V Trigger doesn't have any kind of push effect if the opponent has their back to the wall. Anyway, getting a lot of mileage looking at hitbox data with Dantarion's boxdox tool.
There's a lot of interesting little details hidden in there that confirms some suspicions I've had, like why Mika's anti-airs lose to cross-ups so badly. On the other hand, it's also giving me some new ideas for setups. Had no idea EX Wingless had 11f invul, or that 6MP has almost same range as LP SPD.
Random question, I'm assuming the answer is no, but I'll ask anyway. Does anyone know if the PS3 madcatz TE II arcade stick will work with the PS4 version of SF5? Not looking forward to shelling out money for s new one if it doesn't.
Unless something changes last minute the PS4 version doesn't work with PS3 sticks.
So is FANG the boss of the fucking game? If so, talk about a fail....
Fail, how? We know more characters are coming down the line.. Street Fighter V's 'boss' matters just about as much as it's box art.
Y'all just looking for reasons to be mad at this point. Sounds like built in excuses for when you inevitably suck.
(not talking to you Weltall, just in general)
pfft who you throwing 'inevitably' at, I'm way ahead of the curve and already firmly suck at SFV
Lol you still going to stick with Laura? I was leaning towards Ken but I was painfully bad so I may give Cammy a try

All about that Nash and Bison life.
Though Nash had pretty drastic changes in every beta so who knows what the fuck he looks like at release.
I'm playing Mika unless they give Laura at least one single link combo lol
Lol, I'm giving the game 1-2 weeks to get my attention in a positive way. If it doesn't, I'm going back to Ultra regardless of tourney presence.
I did the same thing with Marvel 3. After 3 days, I could tell it was just plain bad and the netcode was worse. I never played it a day after that. Actually, I think I played the updated version like twice.
Funny that you say that when Dieminion called the SF4 series the "marvel" of street fighter, and that V is a return to what the other games played like stylistically.
I personally think the game will be good, so I'm pretty hype for it. Most of the characters seem fun and once the cast fleshes out I think the tournament scene will be fun to watch.
I'm not really judging it one way or another til I get to play it offline, but I'll be playing USF4 a bunch still either way just bc I love the game
