They are rushing the game like crazy. What were getting on Tuesday is the textbook definition of minimally viable product. That said I think it's justifiable in this instance since they want get the competitive scene rolling and that crowd doesn't really give a fuck about story mode or dlc costumes.

Totally off topic, but I got an Xbox One Elite controller. That D-pad is the end-all, be-all of pads. Too bad no SFV for those users.

It had been so hard to find one of these for awhile I had forgotten about it until you mentioned it. Found one at a Best Buy today while out at the mall to watch Deadpool and dear god, this controller is so amazing. $150 is fucking nuts but it legitimately feels worth the money. Super comfortable and the faceted D-Pad is so really nice.

The standard 'arcade mode' story is from launch, the cinematic story won't be until a few months in.

Yeah realistically I think it's better for them to get finished versus/ranked modes out to keep the CPT train on the rails, considering that they're banking on the viewership aspect to sell more games down the road.

Are we sure you can't invite someone for a private or player match? Yeah there is no lobby system but you don't need a lobby system to play just 1 specific person. If they seriously didn't put in that functionality I don't even know what to say.
