There has never been a statement of height requirement, just power level and doing the dance correct. Those things seem to hold true because even Krillin and Piccolo were joked about doing the dance(they did it just didn't try outside of showing the dance itself).

I was like 100% sure he was going to jump to SSJGB. But Trunks during this whole thing(even in the manga) his power level has been way above the norm(manga he's same as SSJ3 tier).

People are really overestimating Trunks contributions, first of all Goku on his own fucked up Blamasu, then Vegito fucked him up even worse. When Trunks came in he only needed to finish him off, which he did by pulling the power of every living thing on earth AND Goku and Vegeta and putting it into a sword attack.

Trunks new form is definitely above SSJ2, but saying hes SSJB level is just hyperbole.

Zamasu took two of his own blasts to the dome piece by Vegeta/Trunks/Goku, a kaio-ken that had him on queer street, and Vegito beating the shit out of him and ensuring he showed Zamasu his beam sword was bigger than his. Insinuating Trunks single-handily took him out is misleading.

It kinda reminds me of the Vasto Lorde in Bleach during the FTK arc. A lot of people were disappointed but what else do you want lol? Took like 2-4 captain level guys to take each one out.

I don't think Trunks being that strong is too much of an asspull. Dude has been hinted to have unlocked latent rage powers for the entire arc.

He started off SSJ3 tier from training with the future Kais, then trained with SSJB Vegeta, THEN got a pseudo-God ki form.

THEN he got power infused by a fucking Spirit Bomb that included a significant amount of power from both Goku and Vegeta.

Zamasu himself stated that it wasn't the POWER of his attack that fucked him up, it was the fact that there was a ton of different positive energies disrupting his already out-of-sync body.

Nothing to indicate Zamasu was trying very hard with those blasts until Vegito started fucking his world up.

Frieza got his shit pushed in by Goku quite a few times despite at the time being literally over 40 times stronger than him.
