Super has been awesome with the foreshadowing. Bulma with the Time Machine Fuel, the various clone fights, Jaco, etc.

With the recent info on the Universal Destruction Tournament and with Gohan occupying the #3 slot (http://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/...c-fighters.jpg) and his "I'll never lose in front of Pan" speech this ep, I expect he gets the saving throw and clutches part of the tournament, along with Vegeta.

I fully expect goku to die to hit, total "if he dies, he dies" style from Universe 7.

Not to mention he's been rocking the ultimate gohan hairstyle since the end of the Trunks saga. I expect Gohan to get his metaphorical shit together especially with all of the foreshadowing.

I've been reading the manga this weekend, does the anime follow the manga or are they separate stories? I checked up the anime and it seems the anime catches up to the manga at EP 50, but Black shows up in a somewhat different way from what I saw, plus the anime seems to go for over 20 episodes more, so is the manga an adaptation of the anime instead of the other way around? Are they just filler (doesn't seem like they are from the posts I'm reading above)? Is the anime worth it now? I watched the first episodes when they came out and I remember it looking extremely bad/low budget.

Toriyama comes out with a plot outline for an arc, highlighting key points and what not. This story draft is the source material.

He gives that draft to Toei animation and he also gives that draft to Toyotarō and they both kinda do their own thing w/ it, which is where you're gonna see the differences.

So you'll have mostly the same shit (like Goku giving up vs Hit, hit giving up vs Monaka), but all the details of what leads up to those key points are going to be different

Another great filler ep. These guys are knocking it out of the park. Finishing with Goku falling asleep during his son's debut is the icing on the cake XD. Can't wait for the nostalgia bomb of Krillin and Goku training together, followed by getting high and tripping balls.
