So yeah, besides Gohan turning into a wuss and Frieza getting convenient plot devices, everyone else seems pretty in line with how strong they should be.

Except the soldiers! Fucking Roshi took at least 20 out so far.

I'm pretty sure that Ginyu is going to swap bodies with Tagoma from the frog, not that he's been body swapping this hole time. Tagoma himself went from Zarbon level to FPSSJ or greater level in the same four months as Frieza without even using a transformation, which is arguably just as ridiculous as Frieza going to SSJG level.

I think you guys are misunderstanding it to mean that -anyone- could do it. The point was that Frieza has that much untapped power that he could do it. It's silly that he did it in 4 months, but that doesn't mean that just anyone can.

Well that and the guy Frieza trained with that died in the movie rather early. I think everyone is forgetting that being near death and coming back from it making you stronger being a saiyan thing, not just everyone can do that thing. And if you're just a dummy sure you'd get stronger and sure you'd have to be strong to be able to spar with Frieza untrained but the fact si they just got a radical difference. Again it took Gohan and Goku training for a year + to just master super saiyan and super saiyan 2. That's just the hyperbolic time chamber mind you, not taking into account other training before and after that. Frieza went from below super saiyan level to super saiyan god (AFTER Goku had additional training from Beerus and Whiss) and his lacky from a lower power level of the ginyu squad to somewhere around early SSJ3/mystic at least.


It also doesn't make sense why Frieza was warned to stay away from Buu and Beerus, if all he had to do was train for roughly 2 months to be better than Buu and train for 4 months to be on a level that can contest Beerus when he and his family been ruling the galaxy for years.


Again though, brain off just enjoy the action of DBZ. Still shit writing tho.


edit: Also whatever happened to the dark world that demons and crap are from? How does that fit into this 13 multiverse. Was that considered another "universe?" Because wasn't Dabura from Earth technically but in another realm of existence?

Thing was, he didn't even master SSJ2. He didn't become SSJ2 until he raged at Android 15 being destroyed. New guy is probably SSJ2.5 levels of power if I had to guess. But yeah, just having a 120,000 power level then moving to the millions in 4 months for an average joe is pretty much bull shit.

2) There is an upcoming battle and everyone is training and he just goes with it

It's a bit odd that Gohan is nerfed, but then again, I guess it is a way to keep Super Saiyan God Supe...fuck it Super Saiyan Blue from becoming a joke when everyone can do it.

Honestly, at this point, I think Dragonball Super is going to pull a Star Trek and basically rewrite things by having Earth being swapped into Universe 6 which will open up new opponents and a bunch of random Sayains lol. Also, I wonder if the secret member of Beerus's team is going to be Uub lol.

I think the last mention of an actual numerical "power level" is when Frieza self-proclaimed his 2nd form had just over 1,000,000.
At the time no scouters were left on Namek, and Goku's earlier powering-up had remotely overloaded/destroyed the computer in Freezer's ship that was reading him, so take that figure with a grain of space salt.
