They're not relevant to anything because right now Ginyu is a frog on the show. Come back when they inevitably changes.

I meant Ginyu when he was in Ginyu's body(Pre-goku). And then He was around 14,000 or so inside Goku then was slowly powering up.

I am enjoying it very much. Goku jumping over the wall with the tractor was all worth it.

I would personally say no it's not worth watching.

It's a bit colourful, but otherwise fights are shit if you watch it for that. A step above DBGT but not near DBZ levels of "fights". Also a lot of the built up DBZ "rules" doesn't apply too much anymore. It's dialled down a little in that it's much more comedic than before.

It might be building up at the moment but I don't really think so. Previews always makes things look better.

I'm watching it because it's just a bit of fun now for me.

Well I see you guys talking about alternate dimensions and freiza and I'm just like "aw shit I need to get back in this". But I'm cautious cause of GT, and three episodes of AHHHHHHHHHHH before the inevitable spirit bomb of the arc.

I've honestly stopped giving a shit after a few episodes awhile back, and only sporadically catch the new ones here and there. I admittedly chalk that up to not caring about how the last two movies are retold. The whole ripping off the multi-verse bit has me interested though once the content starts going into original territory.

I would suggest to wait the end of the season before watching it. You know how DB is, if you watch it weekly things seem superslow.

If this is all new, then maybe you could watch it. But you should just watch the movies because better animation.

But thats a bad idea if you plan to pick up the show afterward the movie saga because it's changing and adding things.

So far I haven't seen anything terribly (or even slightly) significant added in the series, certainly nothing worth putting yourself through the terrible animation and pacing (at least compared to the movies).

And let's not fool ourselves into thinking DBZ is deep and hard to follow. If you can't pick up the plot from after the movie remix you're doing it wrong.
