Are we really still complaining about the 4 month crap?
Are we really still complaining about the 4 month crap?
Gohan can go from bitch to mystic (higher than SSJ3) by sitting in the grass for 10 hours. But one of the most powerful races in the galaxy, that pretty easily wiped out all the saiyans, can't train their way up in 4 months? I'm not bothered by it.
What bothers me is all the fodder guys being boosted as much.
Still being the keyword. Just go with the simplest answer there is for this show... because DBZ, that's why.
Gotta keep the fodder guys around because who else is Gohan going to fight? Besides, Draonball somewhat follows the same formula:
- New threat detected
- Everyone Trains
- New threat arrives
- Z team fights fodder and defeats all the but strongest of the fodder
- Highest level fodder beats Z Team
- Goku steps in to dispatch of the highest level fodder
- Goku sandbags against the Mega boss for 1-10 episodes
- Goku and Mega Boss unleash their true powers
- Spirit Bomb
- ???
- Goku Wins
- Everyone gets revived with Dragonballs unless the balls are inert.
Rinse repeat.
A challenger? I would like to see Gohan fight a Dodge Challenger like the old Street Fighter fights. "A new Challenger has appeared!" "You lose!"
Get it....cause the fucker can't dodge.... I'll see myself out.
Yeh new episode is also somewhat weird in the animation in some bits. Maybe rushing it in time for Christmas? Not sure how they work.
Freeza playing dirty was a nice touch but otherwise there was too much power struggles/grapplings/staring/talking for my liking. 5/7
I know what you mean..it looked a bit like a video game at parts like below:
Spoiler: show
Must have been a different crew for this episode.
you know maybe it's because I'm watching it streamed and not in the original quality (although it's mostly 480 to 720p) I can't seem to tell the animation faults until people actively point it out. Then once they do its like what the fuck.
Kinda messy considering in the movie he just bops Freeza without even getting touched, and now he's getting smacked around because he can't keep Freeza occupied long enough for him not to be a dick?
In terms of wasting time though it's a good move, along with those power grapples and headbutts. I honestly didn't expect Goku to even go SSG2, but when I skimmed to the end he just turned.
Go see Vegeta's sarcastic grin though (when Freeza thought Vegeta was still loyal to him) if you skipped past that. It's so ugly it's quite odd to see. But yeh the 3 talk like they're good chums until Vegeta asks them to get serious and that's when Goku goes blue.
Merry Christmas

Nothing of interest in 25![]()
25, pre bed time mini rant or questioning I guess:
- Jesus the padding/time wasting
- Whoever choreographed the fights is doing a terrible job so far 1-25
- Tail end of the episode is notably animated weird in some parts
- I really have to question it at this point (or back with ep1). Nearly 25/30 years now this franchise has been going. They should be rolling in money. Why is the quality so poor in general, I don't get it. When you have other animes with in general superior and consistent quality, this really is a stab in the face for long term fans. Are they saving money because all the material so far is basically stretching the first 2 new gen movies, and they're saving it all for stuff post-Freeza? Or do they just not care at this
Pretty sure they just cheap out to make MORE money, spend as less as possible to make more
Oh yeh.... knowing DBZ fanboys will gobble up any and everything![]()
you nailed it stig. i will admit that i notice the issues and have similar problems with the series so far as most people. but honestly if its dbz(s) ill eat it up no matter what lol
And then you have:
All homebrewed probably...![]()
It's just Toei. All Toei does is shit out terrible quality shows with rabid fanbases.
