Goku beats Winnie the Pooh by picking him up and dropibg him outside the ring
Next up is Goku v Frost. They fight for a while and Frost transforms to Friezas 3rd form, they fight some more then Goku goes SS Blue and then they fight some more and mid fight Frost transforms again and the chapter ends right as they are about to attack each other.

Did he go blue or just regular SS? It's hard to tell with no color lol. He put in no effort against Pooh Bear. And Goku being Goku, it'd be surprising to see him go all out so early on.

He doesn't transform when fighting against Pooh Bear. He tried landing attacks but they don't work because of the way Pooh's skin is (must be all that space honey). So he just resorts to dragging his ass to the edge of the ring by his feet and then tosses him out. For Frost (by the way he's pretty friendly...weird seeing him smile), he goes SSGSS Blue from the translations I've heard so far(I hate the term SSGSS...it's way too much). I suspect that he loses early on because Goku being Goku, throws the fight because he wants to see Motaro fight since Beerus says he is the strongest person he's ever fought.

Also, the Anime is catching up pretty damn fast. They probably have at least 2 episodes (they can push out the gathering for the tournament and the testing for 2 episodes) before they get to the first fight.

you know you don't have to say super saiyan god super saiyan blue they literally made the nick name super saiyan blue on purpose so it wouldn't be a mouthful. They made it a cannon

That was what I thought too when I saw the raws, it seemed more like regular SSJ than SSBlue. The lack of colour or any sort of "Oh wow, Goku just went 'blah-blah'" from the viewing peanut gallery doesn't help lol.

Plus, it's 100% in Goku's nature to not go all out unless he absolutely needs to. He did it numerous times in DBZ.

Probably is regular SSJ and we will most likely see them gauge each other's levels by progressively transforming thru different forms (SSJ2+ and Frosts pre final and golden form)

If Frost is only as strong or slightly stronger then old school Freeza was, it's not totally unreasonable for Piccolo to actually be able to fight against him if Goku were to lose.

Speaking of which, why does the translation give the impression that Frost is Freeza, rather than just of the same race? The former is kinda boring compared to the latter, but I'm hoping they don't waste the opportunity.

I just don't like the idea of nice/polite Freeza compared to just someone of his race that isn't a massive dick.

I don't think it's supposed to be alternate Freeza so much as it's just the same race, in the same way that Cabba is a Saiyan, but not an alternate universe Goku or Vegeta, also if you look, Goku only went normal yellow haired Super Saiyan, you can tell by the way it's drawn, the SSB hair is shaded while the Yellow hair is not.

I'm thinking that's actually a bad guy rather than the good guys they let fight, also think he might be the equivalent to the cell of that universe. Although he is called Heat, might be more just wishful thinking on my part lol.
