Épisode 1 was fine but 2 was too slow, no one cares that pilaf can math this took way too long imo whole episode 3 should've been 15min and episode 2 should've ended with black goku appearing in the past

The eps def. feel like there's filler in there, but in hindsight, its probably just generic anime storytelling. Everything has to be smacking you upside the head with obviousness.

People, it's Dragonball, and we're on episode 48. This isn't a 13/26 episode series... This is moving at a pretty unprecedented state for DB/Z. The slowest part was def Freeza shit but this is still pretty well paced.

I'm sorry but I loved all the young Trunks stuff. Him flirting with Mai, him having NO clue what's going on since he was a baby last time.

I really enjoy it when media uses the All-Powerful Bystander trope.

Although, if Goku was to fight Black next ep, surely there must be some deeper story? It feels like it might get resolved all too soon.

Goku went SSJ vs Trunks going SSJ. Black shows up but I think it's just an image, not him(yet).

Why Trunks is still fighting Goku when he should've realized he was surrounded by friends who fought alongside him with Cell is dumber in my opinon. A better scene would've been him busting out in tears with the knowledge of him being surrounded by those he trusted and a living mother and father.

Well, you have to realize the situation.

The last time he was conscious, his Mother and girlfriend were both JUST killed by this black villain and he was being tormented by this black for who knows how many weeks,months,years. He was about to get blasted by black and barely escaped and passed out.Who knows how long he was out for, but to wake up and see the mfer who just killed his girlfriend and mother and attack him seems like a natural reaction.

Definitely not getting resolved soon. From the interview that took place like a month before the arc dropped
