I feel like after the initial attack Goku probably will just fight him to test his strength.

If it wasn't for the fact that we knew this was the same Trunks and that Goku was already dead in his timeline, I'd think Trunks was pissed at Goku because he pulled the same old "Let's test my strength slowly" and got absorbed or something.

The outcome made more sense in the anime, at this point it feels like the manga is rushing to catch up lol

I do like the differences though, some of this stuff should've been in the anime instead which is a shame.

IMO, the manga version made more logical sense, but the anime version had a much better Hit, and Goku forfeiting didn't come as out of nowhere there.

And Goku couldn't really go on much more in the anime due to the Kaioken, and his chi was all fucked up for a while. Hit was a lot weaker in the manga. But overall I like that he was still able to go Red, I like red a lot and I hope they still use it, I just like the skinny look.

Sigh. How I hate this show sometimes. But as I expected Black showing up at the very end of the ep, while what happened in the previous 20min could´ve covered in 5 minutes really. Guess it was kinda neat to see Goku go SSJ3 once again and it was animated pretty nicely. Anyway predictions for Trunks arc: Goku gets his ass handed by Black (possibly even without going SSJB cause of his carelessness), Trunks jumps in goes SSJ3 but also gets his ass handed by Black which will lead to Vegeta hopefully finally for once saving the day (possibly by going SSJB2 which would be kinda badass and an unexpected trump card like Goku´s Kaio-Ken).

How the fuck would Gohan even be able to put a scratch on ANY of the Z Fighters? That includes Future Trunks. Not even talking about Black here. Mfer hasn´t been training forever. He´d need like 10 magical Genkai boosts at once to even be on par with Goku/Vegeta SSJB. So yeah that´d be completely fucktarded.

Here's a theory I have as to who Black might be, sorry if someone has already come up with this.

Do you remember that in the tournament between Universe 6 and 7 that the other Earth was destroyed? I think that maybe Black might be that Universe's Goku and destroyed it. When Beerus wished for that Earth to be brought back, I think it brought back Black (I'm assuming Black was killed when that Earth was destroyed but I could be wrong) and Black is able to traverse through time and dimensions thanks to the new Green guy (ie. he has a time warp ring.

black goku is not a real goku I'm sure it's the green kaioshin that is controlling him because when he arrived he looked at real goku and said " so you are son goku". Also that earth is universe 7 earth just in the future trunks didn't transcend universes

Minus the fish sausages and pilaf scenes, I didn't mind the episode. I liked the spar between Goku and Trunks and definitely liked seeing what happened with Buu (as I've been wondering about that for years)
