Looking back it's really pretty cool how Toriyama was slowly feeding the readers the Saiyans route to SSJ2 and all the forms tried and/or adapted until that threshold to the next level. Welp, a quick google search tells me the series was 1)supposed to end after Frieza, 2)supposed to end with Gohan taking the reins after Cell, 3)supposed to end with Gohan beating Buu but fan's outcry at this forced Toriyama to go back to Goku and 4)It's all a buncha rumours with no actual confirmation at all.

So yeah, none of the supposed "end points" were ever confirmed as to where Toriyama wanted to end the series.

Action was okay. Goku more or less half-assing it by only going SSJ2 at this point. But without any eng subs, I'm assuming it was just to test this Universe 10 (or whichever one it is) Kaioshin out and see if his chi matches that of Blacks. Next week looks dope though, Vegeta training Trunks and showing him SSJB. I wouldn't be surprised of Trunks is able to go SSJB too eventually.

Still hilarious looking at the hair differences between Kid and Adult trunks. I wonder if all DBZ games will now retroactively change Mirai Trunks' hair to blue instead of purple. Is it canon enough now to change the games?

I think it's silly that the kaioshin thought that SSJ2 Goku could keep up with GoD(maybe their universe?).

I'm assuming everyone else noticed that Black's earring was the same color as the older Kaioshin, rather than Zamasu's?

Wouldn't be the first time a Kaio fused with another and someone's dormant personality took over.

I think it's obvious that Zamasu poisons Gowasu. If that means he fuses with him or just out right kills him isn't clear yet. I have no doubt that Zamasu is Black at this point. It's just a Zamasu from the future that's traveled to the past. That's why the Ki didn't match up yet.

But wtf is he doing in U7(or 6... I always forget which one we're in)? And why the focus on Sajins? Zamasu seemed really focused on humans, even calling Goku human quite a few times.

I don't think Zamasu is Black.

I think Zamasu has this brooding malevolence inside of him. Maybe he purifies himself, or Gowasu does, or something. But that malevolence takes a form, and that's Black.

Goku is the only person Zamasu has fought so it would make sense that way. Just speculation of course.
