Trunks using Final Flash was dope. I'm actually surprised they didn't keep fighting and ended up running away. And looks like the Super Dragonballs are gonna be super commonly used o_O.

. Nothing special was said during the fight in the future, but back in the present, that zamasu doesn't seem to be the same one as seen in the future, because he just learned by watching the hit fight that goku can have God KI. And gowasu telling him he wanna be a godtuber was funny.

Overall the episode was good fight wise but story wise it didn't advance much imo,

Well the only thing important about the future is that zamasu kept saying immortal body of mine, so we can guess he'll ask super shenron for immortality

Was good to see Trunks kick some ass as well, though I'll never know how he got strong enough to fight on par with Blue but hey, it's DB.

That and trunks just seems super fucking strong even if you go based off the manga which I'm sure they stole a bit from. Fight was fkn awesome though. Story is making a bit more sense as far as their uber power ups are concerned. Will be interesting to see if Beerus and Whis go back to the future this time :D

Don´t think Final Flash and Masenko look anything alike but meh. Anyway, I don´t know what to make of this ep really. English sub says Vegeta was "utterly outmatched" by Black. Goku also visible struggled VS Zamasu so...how the fuck could Trunks hold up against either of them? Rage power boost of that magnitude is just too extreme. Trunks is SSJ2 just as Vegeta was when he rage boosted against Beerus for hitting Bulma and he barely managed to get stronger than Goku SSJ3. Also how the hell did Trunks survive a Kame-Hame-Ha from Black that basically KO´d Goku as SSJB? Shouldn´t that pretty much have wiped out Trunks? Shit just doesn´t add up at all imho. I know all these power levels have always been wonky to say the least but I feel like it´s getting worse and worse with Super. Still hoping they bring back Zensu bean Zenkai boost for Vegeta´s recovery (prolly not tho cause fuck Vegeta I guess).

Whenever there's an inconsistency in power the simplest answer is "because the plot needed it" more than anything else. Emotions and Saiyan near death hax are cool if you want to try to reason it out but it's always secondary to plot.

This is the reason Piccolo goes around kicking bitches in the face even though he's weak as shit. Since Piccolo isn't here they had Trunks fill his role lol

Not like Vegeta did any damage to him whatsoever either, even when Black wasn´t in SSJR form so eh...but it´s whatever.

Also what about the Kame-Hame-Ha? Shouldn´t that have killed Trunks when it basically incapacitated Goku?

He did, but that's because using your energy to recreate a sword and piercing it through someone's chest is going to do a lot more damage than a punch.

Vegeta was the first one on the scene, and everyone else knows about that trick now because Vegeta took the fall to show it to them.

If Goku went first, same shit could have happened to him, but he knew to look out for it, etc.


Kamehameha? Could have been straight up bad writing. Goku could have taken up more of the force. Zamasu's immortal body may have weakened the blow to both of them, etc. Not to mention, Goku was already pretty damn beat up when he took the blast compare to Trunks who had almost no damage at that point. That one could go either way, but seeing as Trunks did no actual damage to either black or Zamasu, there's not much that is inconsistent there
