The only way DB can truely continue imo is by focusing on the new generation. The adults have reached godhood by now and it's almost impossible to create something new and meaningful for them.

GT took this idea and half assed it. If they actually switch focus on adventures for Trunks, Goten, Bra and Pan(I'd put in there even Krilin's daughter lol) then you might have new plots and stuff. But Goku, V, Gohan and the bros are just done...let them rest.

I say nuke everything Buu and onwards, keep some of the ideas though i.e. fusion. The way Gohan was dealt with after the Cell saga was a fucking travesty.

The entire Buu saga was shitty except for the four panels of fame Gohan actually gets.

Problem is that the new generation already has gotanks. Gotanks already is insanely strong only second to mythic gohan and vigetoin in the buu saga anyways.

Heh, can't say I'd mind a return to the origins. While I do like DBZ, the first Dragon Ball had a whole different atmosphere to it.

Patreon, its about what all online creators are doing because ad revenue is down across the board (partly ad-block and partly (at least on youtube) bigger names taking most of the ad dollars)

Hmm, I would go through with this Patreon process if all they did was DBZ abridged; I'm less inclined if they produce other things haha... but seeing how it's paying monthly to support a group of people, it's not a bad idea.

Reasonable too, with it capping at $50/month, with already 30 people $1500! (before fees) a month.
