Don't have any
Don't have any
did it lower tp per hit?
Not sure I was fighting something that didn't take any dmg
Edit: no change in tp gain
So just noticed it seems like the weapons that were added were missed from this update on here and bg wiki. Not sure if there were any others but just from unity they added a kat, another staff, a bow
Did anyone that did dat mining have a list of what was added?? there were new weapons added but i dont see them on the bg wiki update list.
i read on ffxiah that with the addition of Su1 on items, it messed up the dat mining for a lot of stuff and weapons were no longer in their usual spot in the dats.
Spoiler: show
Magemasher was from the update before
Is there any practical reason why datamine stuff hasn't been added to FFXIAH/Guildwork yet?
Or is it just because less and less people are "working" on FFXI stuff and this is the beginning of the end? >.>
What's missing? I know POLUtils was broken after the update because they changed the structure of 4 commonly used DAT files (weapons and armor in both English and Japanese). It has been fixed since though, so the items can now be added.
Weapons is what was left out from the initial datamines posted here on BG forums, but most items haven't been added on BG-Wiki, and no item at all has been added to FFXIAH and Guildwork.
At this point they might as well wait for the January patch items if they want to add something, since the new patch is behind the corner already.
For the record, the FFXIAH DB has been updated a few days ago. I think that hence the GW DB should also be updated, but I'm not entirely sure.
My testing showed that Grape Daifuku NQ was +14 MATK, not +13. Are you certain it's +13?
Honestly not 100% since for some reason my numbers were coming out weird. Like my no food test came out to a number that was impossible to get with the 40 native mab an avatar should have. But otherwise it looked good. What did you do for testing?
If you have 5 merits into Avatar MAB, your Avatar actually has 50 MAB.
Your test may have been cleaner, but I came to a pretty consistent conclusion.
I did 0 TP Meteor Strikes, with gear, but with different scenarios:
Full gear
No glyphic horn, -20 MAB
No glyphic horn, with food
glyphic horn, with food
No glyphic horn, no caller's sash (-2 MAB)
Maybe some others
I basically tried to calc based on all the numbers of switching around gear how much damage I was getting from MAB. By checking how much damage I was losing from gaining and lowering MAB, I was able to get an idea of how much damage I was gaining per point of MAB. From all the different angles, it came out to be exactly +14 MAB from the food, as I was missing 6 MAB worth of damage to be at the horn's damage. It came out to be an exact difference. I don't have the numbers I gathered anymore, sadly.
By all means, I don't know the usual method for testing these things, I just did it based on gaining and losing MAB and seeing how much the food granted. Your testing may have been more accurate.
