Skill up gear and Moogle/sakura trust helps alot as well. Throwing is really easy to skill up on ninja now with Daken.

Another source of exp/bayld is of course coalition assignments. You can turn them in on any level job. Say you focused on the couriers coalition and worked on ranking it up via using the most recently unlocked assignments, you eventually get to the highest exp/bayld per assignment there is simply warping to and fro a bivouac. Granted you gotta be smart about which assignment you do or how many imprinters you spend so that you dont waste exp by leveling and hittin 1 tnl and losing any excess exp. Of course for your first job to 99 this would require you making your way through the zones and unlockin bivouac waypoints, and ranking up with the coalition to unlock the better exp giving assignments (which would be more difficult if you were just beginning, but on future jobs it could be helpful.). Plus you only got so many imprinters ( you can store some by accepting other assignments and just not doing them. And then when you need more imprinters AKA you not capped at 15, you can cancel the assignment and regain your imprinters to use where you want.) At first you cant store that many til you rank up other coalitions. But once you get it set up you could gain a few levels pretty easily.
