I don't even dislike the Lions, and I got some serious schadenfreude reading Pride of Detroit's Suh thread today. The discordance between Lions fans and everyone else on this issue seems ridiculous. It's not all Lions fans, sure, but wow.

He's getting an extra mil a year with the new contract. Outside of the $24M only being paid out in event of injury, his contract no longer has any guaranteed money.

How did Jets fans bring this upon themselves? Most, if not all Jets fans want to keep Rex, myself included. Problem is we can't seem to develop a QB and our GMs have been mostly money men and not personnel men. There's no way we were going to get a competent GM (Idzik was ass and we all knew it) unless he could bring a guy he wanted in. Unfortunate circumstances that pisses me off, but it is what it is.
