It is easier for transsexuals who are passable to obtain acceptance than it is for transsexuals who aren't that lucky. Unfortunately, for most transsexuals, by the time they fully transitioned, they have already gone through puberty, making the change that much harder to achieve. And if you were born male, have gone through puberty, and have the bad luck of having strong masculine features, it might never be possible to fully transition into a passable woman.
The only way to really help increase that is by helping diagnose transsexual children early, so that you can put them on hormone blockers before puberty is over, so they have a better chance to have a full transition without feeling like they will look like monsters.
