Original plan was just oils (not tomestone), but tomestone was ninja'ed in with the final update. Not that they'll necessarily do the same thing again - remember, The Hunt was also added in 2.3 and generated plenty of sands so there were alternative ways to get both sands and oils as soon as 2.3 was released. If they aren't going to have something else like hunts, it wouldn't surprise me if the Carbontwine was also included from the start, especially with the separation of lotting restrictions for upgrade materials and equipment items.
I can see the upgrade items also coming from the Gold Saucer for getting a ridiculous amount of GS points or whatever currency they use.
I don't think they will use allied seals, too many people have them capped now so it would have to be something crazy like 1k seals per new book.
Add a new book that can only be purchased with the current books, and require 10 of the current books to only buy 1 of the new books which you need 3 to buy either of the carb items.

Right, but for different reasons
Coil 1 in 2.0 was 90, and we had 70 Darklight and 90 AF2 as non-loot. CT1 was supposed to be the bridge to Coil, thus 80, but just wasn't ready for 2.0.
Coil 2 was 110. But because of the pattern development (and just content stretching in general) was at, it meant there wasn't a bridge again. But this time, they made it so the non-loot latin gear was weathered 100, with an upgrade to 110. And later, in came the 100 CT2 gear.
Now we have Coil 3 at 130, with Ironworks at 120>130
So, as long as the pattern holds, CT3 will be 120. Coil 3 -10
So wait a minute.
Should I be stockpiling my Poetics?
I doubt we'll see poe being uncapped or something happening to them anytime soon, not until at least 2.52 if square is going to use any kind of logic.
If your gonna stock pile poetics its really just because new CT gear might change your buy order, bare minimum the gear will be 120. Suppose there is a small chance some pieces will be solid upgrades over poetic pieces ie all the ss crap gear for smn. Either way it might be worth just holding off buying anything for a week.
Hope this will be her theme
or a good remix like
Or if you prefer...
I'm confused why people think Nidhogg is speaking at the end of the trailer, it's the same voice as Midgardsormr that speaks during Keeper of the Lake.

I hope we get a new remix of The Last Battle, it was fine to recycle for Ultros but this deserves better. I was looking foraward to Echidna's battle but sadly it seems like they got rid of it![]()
I'm kinda hoping mystery trial is just BotBB Extreme to go alongside the Hard version for the story.
I want a balls-out hard Gilgamesh fight on the level of Savage SCoB for that 1% audience.
Spoiler: show
I can wait, but still waiting for more FFIV than the boring main theme and our beloved fat chocobo theme. You've got 4 battle themes, The Red Wings, the cave theme, illusive world theme and many others.
I could totally see a Giant of Babil theme going the next time we dive deep into one of the Empire's techobabble fortresses.
Isn't all of ARR building up towards Zodiark? Any chance thats the mystery trial or am I missing something obvious?
I think zodiark is too big to just appear and be dealt with like that
Mystery trial I likely the 4 generals
The dragon at the end of the trailer likely isn't even Nidhogg. I originally thought the same thing, but Nidhogg should only have 1 eye. It being Midgardsormr is also pretty likely, it sounds like the difference between possessed Louisoix/Thancred vs normal Louisoix/Thancred.
CPU = ADS aside, I always thought it'd show up in Alexander because C'MON a giant moving fortress from ages past that we have to go inside to fight?
