Early Zelda 2 is a surprise. I really enjoyed that game on the NES despite the internet's general dislike for it being too different.

Probably couldn't handle the increase in difficulty, the gameplay was great IMO. Link has so many damn attacks and animations, very impressive for NES. I never actually beat the game but it did not stop me from trying, so many fails lol.
The controls were also very responsive. Downward sword strikes never got old.
Only real problem I had with it was that bloody death-run to the final temple (all the caves and bullet hell BS prior that the runner is doing now), and getting lost in the temples any time you fell down a pit.
And that was a real unfortunate end to the deathless attempt.
what is the Zelda II WR?

1hr1min21s according to that.
And crap, schedule rearranging means I get to miss DKC2 to my XIV Coil run.
Donkey Kong Country 2 Race Live NOW
GAME OVER FOR KRAUSER NOOOOO
The speed they are going in these vines with the parrots are making me physically shake.
That was pretty amazing, despite Krauser's game crashing.
This Mario run is hype already!
That was delicious.
I don't see it on the schedule but I think he said they were doing SMBW.
Its over, shut down AGDQ 2015. It ain't getting better than this, folks.
Man is killin' it.
Most entertaining run so far.
That was my first time donating. And it was because of BIG JON!
Badass how he did his own commentary the entire time lol.
I have a new saying now. Don't question Nintendo logic.
Lost Levels, of course.
Big Jon just oozes charisma.
"What are you doing there?"
"Thought you were going to get me, didn't you?"
