I think when it comes down to it, it's a matter of respect. I have a few friends who are trans and I treat them like they want to be treated. I also know a guy who is m2f who is a total asshole who has on multiple occasions screwed me over and in one unfortunate incident groped me. Since I don't have an ounce of respect for him, I don't put any effort in correcting my speech about him because I don't respect him as a human being, much less whatever gender he wants to be called.

But yeah, people I respect? No problem. Doesn't bother me so whatever.

Guilty of that one (in general, but not specific to trans). When I'm trying to piss someone off, I'll go for w/e is going to offend them worse. If that's calling someone the n-word, wetback, or any other racial slur. I use it. If it's calling someone who's self-conscious about their weight fat, I do it. If it's calling a gay person fgt, I do it. I'll go for w/e I think is going to offend you the worst just for the fuck of it @.@
