Dave Dameshek's potential Superbowl storylines are great lol
#Goosebumps
Rob Gronkowski is a straight up beast who they said would never be the same and what a great all-time NFL story it'll make if the Patriots win the Superbowl after Blount was released from Pittsburgh and brought back home.
Talk about redemption for everybody. Revis too.
The feels are real.
Go Pats.
I still think the Steelers should have kept Blount. Not sure if they would have beat the Ravens, but the back ups were pretty terrible.
I will enjoy watching the Ravens lose today. Even if it is only the highlights. I think Average Joe is good for at least 2 interceptions today.
I mean when I think of elite quarterbacks only one comes to mind Eli Manning.
Honestly I find the discussion of elite or not elite very nauseating and rather just watch the game.
Steve Logan put it perfectly yesterday. If CAR is going to win, they have to flip their game plan upside down. No one, and I mean No one, has long, sustained drives against SEA. Teams beat them with the big play. That's it.
First down = let Cam throw that motherfucker 60, 70 yards to Benji. Then the coverage becomes 1v1 no matter what and Benji is a fucking monster physically. He's GOT to catch the ball today. CAR's hopes are entirely on his shoulders.
Every other down = read option. There's nothing to save Cam for. It's the playoffs, all or nothing. Let him keep plowing over guys and getting chunks here and there. If he hands it off, JStew has been playing some of his best ball. He's Lynch's doppelganger. He's incredibly physical and tough to bring down. Between the two, they can wear down that defense like no other.
Dallas proved if you can open up the top and beat the shit out of them at the line, you have a chance. CAR has the perfect skill set for this. Tbey just have to execute.
Worked out well for us. Ridley was going to be a big loss down the stretch. He's our pound-the-rock back and while Gray dominated Indianapolis with the offensive line, he was on the practice squad prior to that game. Not sure how much Belichick trusts him which is probably why we havent seen him since yet.
Also, looking forward tomorrow to see if Tony Romo is on a Cinderella story this year, or if the Cowboys are just going to get buried. Hoping for the former.
It's probably just because of how much I love football, but because it's single-game elimination, I'm inclined to say post-season losses in the NFL are the biggest heart breaks in sports.
Story lines everywhere
Romo is a Cinderella in terms of his career, but Dallas is 8-0 on the road this season, and playing against an injured Rodgers. If they win tomorrow, is it that big of an upset?
I'd say it is a upset given how the Packers play at home.
If the Cowboys had any other owner besides Jerry Jones I could maybe root for them. Maybe.
Well, the shoe is on the other foot if that's the case. For years Romo has been shouldering 99% of the Cowboys failures even though just about every time the ball was snapped to him, his offensive line instantly fell apart like paper. Defensive linemen were practically racing the ball to Romo for years, and all he ever heard was "Romo sucks."
If he beats Green Bay in their own house, with Rodgers under center, 100% or not, then I think a little praise is in order.
Browns under investigation by the nfl for the possible texting during games

Doesn't matter because it's not the Patriots and that's the realest of real real talk.
Nothing to see here, just like there was nothing to see when the Jets were taping our sideline, just like there was nothing to see when Jimmy Johnson said he was taping defensive signals for all of the Cowboys Superbowl victories, just like there was nothing to see when Indianapolis was pumping sound into their stadium, etc etc etc etc.
If it's not the Patriots, there will be no real punishments, no buzzwords hammered into our national consciousness, no nothing.
Don't mean to make a Cleveland story Patriot-centric, but it's true.
Also, further evidence of a Baltimore cover up has been revealed related to Ray Rice, and it won't receive any punishment at all, despite how egregious it is.
No fines, no draft picks, nothing.
Goodell knows if he takes Baltimore's 1st round draft pick for deceiving the league on this matter, the Ravens FO will bring him down by opening their mouths about everything. Total white wash.
