From what I'm reading Rex wanted the Falcons job but they wanted to complete the 2nd round of interviews before deciding, which was delayed when Arthur Blank's mother died. When he visited Buffalo they pulled out all the stops so he took the job where he felt more "wanted."

I'm not heartbroken over it, glad we are doing our due diligence. Hopefully Bowles or Austin are HC material.

Well Russwils is working with a handicap, he's not all black. Regardless, I think that he's way better than Luck. Maybe if Luck turns it around with the turnovers in the next couple years it'd be different. People always compare Luck to the top 5, particularly Peyton (for obvious reasons), but Russwils has been balling out of control since he came in the league. Especially in the post season, where he currently has the highest post season passer rating.
