yes typically hwen people jump up to catch something they have to fall while catching, this happens often and is called gravity

He's clutch but he's also overrated clutch because scrambling and running around blind and then throwing up a prayer for any player to come down with, who then catches it with one hand on a helmet, proving that there is no God, isn't exactly clutch.

I think it was the correct call and don't think the rule should change.

Quick question: If Dez had broken the plane for the endzone prior to the ball hitting the ground and moving, would it have been ruled a TD? And more importantly, would it have been upheld?

It would have been the same ruling. Breaking the plane is irrelevant to the rule since it's not considered a catch.

That's a no brainer, Torrey and Daniels are gone. One is a soft replaceable half-committed speedster and the other is 50 years old.

Forsett I'm on the fence about. I think that Kubiak can plug and play RB to some extent, but the team would have to go out and get someone, because they don't have even replacement level on the roster besides maybe Taliaferro.

Pernell McPhee is this year's designated "random guy turned into a defensive star on the Ravens front 7 who will earn a big contract and underperform elsewhere", following in the footsteps of Jones, Kruger, Ellerbe, all the way back to AT.

Ravens will save about 2.6 M from releasing Chris Canty, who is probably going to retire and if he isn't he will definitely be released anyway

Most importantly, they'll have to decide what to do with Ngata. Cut him and save around 8.5 or sign him to an extension that will relieve about 4-5 mil. I don't know if I'd want to extend him personally, but it's hard to release a guy like that.

Also where are you getting the over cap 5.9? They are under by about 4 based on projected 2015
