These wild, and horrific accusations proclaiming that any aspect of my makeup line would ever promote the degradation of women, statutory rape, sexual behavior, human trafficking, underage drinking, or even idealization of fleeting youth, goes against everything I stand for. So, please excuse me if I find those articles and comments appalling and inaccurate.

I don't think it's a terribly unusual conclusion though. It's a fact that to a good percentage of the population, "underage" has a poor connotation. I'm not one of the people asking her to take it off the shelves, hell, I don't give much of a shit about make up, but I can see why people are upset by it.

Really? You can see why people are upset by the name of a lipstick? Because I'm utterly baffled by the fact that people have so fucking little to worry about, how they're completely ignorant of actual problems in our country/the world, that they even have time to be upset about how somebody names a shade of fucking lipstick. If they were upset because they're actually upset by the fact that the stated problems exist (human trafficking, etc) and the fact that they're powerless, so they lash out at anything they could even possibly see as related, then they would be misguided but pitiable. Unfortunately, these fucking retards honestly believe that a goddamn lipstick name actually contributes to those problems, and that makes them retarded beyond measure. I have nothing but contempt for these idiots.

If you're on the hunt for offense, sure. I would argue it isn't a fact that people think underage has poor connotation in the way that the people crying about the name have. They are taking it to the sexual aspect of being underage.

Also, I'd like to bring to light WHO found the lipstick offensive. None other than Parker Marie Molloy. Who is a professional offense-finder. I'm sure if you looked in the gamergate thread or this one, you'd find her bitching about miniscule things

Social media allows one person who gets annoyed by a nonexistent offense to be retweeted and upvoted until it pops onto clickbait articles giving a voice to something that never would have come up. This is the future welcome to it, it's not going away.
