Dyed blue hair and wearing a Ramones shirt in 2015.
Hard fucking pass.
Dyed hair and tattoos are great giveaways that you're going to annoy the shit out of me.
in my experience they've been great signs we're gonna have some weird sex
When I went to back Indivisible I was told I might want to back this: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/f...me-anthology#/

I'm all on board with a group of feminists actually creating something that they feel is needed. It's better than tearing down some else someone has created because it doesn't meet their standards.
In a perfect world, that would be true. I'd be worried that any legitimate criticism about the game will in turn be shouted down by feminists as the patriarchy just being mean to them.
There's been a feminist game before hasnt there? Cant remember name. Wildly heralded as shitty and boring. People got upset at reviews, didnt change it still not being worth playing.
Until somehow the game ends up like U2s latest album and gets force DLed onto your iphone with an update, nobody is going to make anyone play this. So yeah, let them make what they want. Let people donate money to it, whatever. Not like anyone donating money to a game centered around feminism is waxing and waning between giving their $5 to this game OR to cancer research.
I'm just waiting for the inevitable "our game failed because of the Patriarchy and is proof of how oppressed women are" while completely ignoring the fact that their game is shit. I think it's inevitable that the game will be shit because games that focus on having a message so rarely focus on having fun and entertaining gameplay. I'll eat my hat if this one turns out to be a unicorn.
That one is called Sunset, and the devs had a total meltdown on twitter when their game inevitably failed to an extreme degree despite the level of shilling mainstream game journalist were putting out for it. I think the one Sath means is the walking lesbian simulator called Gone Home.
Speaking of games that have had feminists try to force their agenda where it wasn't needed, they tried to do the same thing with Undertale last month:

Ahh yes, a game that was successful because, from what I understand, it was good. Then people tried to claim it was because of the narrative.
The best part about Undertale's "message" is that you only ever come across it while playing the game. It's not in the ads or promos. It's not on the box art (not that it has a box exactly, but you know what I mean). It doesn't sell itself as a LBGT-Women-Positive anything. It's a doofy retro-styled RPG with a unique battle system. And then you run into the gay characters, and nobody remarks on it at all. And you meet the lesbians, and no one remarks on it. And you meet the super-andro characters, and nobody remarks on it. It's unobtrusive and easily overlooked. It's just stated as a complete normal thing, and it isn't rammed down anyone's throat.
The only people championing it as agenda-driven are the people with an agenda. Game doesn't have one.
Undertale won a "Best game of all time" poll on GameFAQs vs. Super Mario World on GameFAQs. Feminists have already won. Game over man, game over
Um, look at the age groups you see most active on that site. The first console for most of these kids were a PS2, maybe even PS3. Let that sink in for a moment. These children grew up on consoles, with games, 2-3 generations after the era of SMW. And you wonder why they'd think a game like Undertale is better than Super Mario World?
I just assumed the post wasn't serious, given that the source is GameFAQS of all things.
