You're right, Rodgers' best year of 48 total TDs and 4900 total yards doesn't quite touch that. Except he did it in 15 games. A guy like you who blasts Peyton for meaningless regular season stats doesn't get to turn around and praise Brady for risking injury to pursue regular season records.

And while Brady may have Gisele, he has her til death do them part. Rodgers can continue banging various hot actresses indefinitely.

The 2007 season versus Rodgers 2011?

Rodgers played the creamiest of cream puffs that year, coming off an off season mired in lock outs which resulted in no training camp and shit tier defenses because of it.
    Oh, and after rule changes?

Brady did it against one of the toughest defensive schedules ever played, facing down a gauntlet of all comers and mostly all the best defenses in the league.
    Oh, and before rule changes?

If Moss didn't have to worry about getting decapitated by DB's Tom would of thrown a billion touchdown passes.

Those season's aren't comparable, but you're correct, the numbers themselves are.

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...ackback-blocks

    Kind of a big difference.

I respect Rodgers but I love how people want to dismiss the effect the rule changes had on the league, while simultaneously complaining about it

    Apples to oranges.

We're moving into an NFL age where the stats of all time greats are going to be mocked as awful because they don't match up with the 2019 version of Andrew Luck who is throwing 60 TD's a season and for 6,500 yards.

Tom Brady won Superbowls when the NFL was still the NFL.
He also put up monster numbers when the NFL was still the NFL.
He also did it against a schedule packed to the brim with top defenses.

Rodgers 2011 season isn't comparable, and it isn't because Rodgers is bad.

Peyton's 49 TD season was a lot more impressive than his 55 TD season and that's just a fact.

Well then just look at everyone from '08-'14 - Rodgers still crushes everyone in all the rate stats in the same era - TD%, INT%, passer rating, TD:INT ratio, YPA, ANY/A, barely #2 in completion percentage to the dome king Brees - and that's including Rodgers' first season as a starter when he was still figuring it out.

You don't have to tell me that Rodgers is a bad ass. He plays outdoors, he plays in the elements, and he puts up numbers. The dude is a total boss + has a mustache + celebrates like Super Mario.

Also, I don't know if Brees is even King of his dome anymore.

7 of 16 games you played were against teams with winning records. You also played the whole AFC East twice which combined for 12 wins, including a 1-15 dolphins team. The NFC East was the only difficult portion of your schedule. This wasn't a murderer's row of teams you beat. Only 3 teams you beat exceeded 10 wins, the Colts, Cowboys, and Chargers. the other 4 teams were 10-6 or 9-7. Everyone else was 8-8 or worse. In fact, if you look at the 2007 standings, the Patriots had the EASIEST schedule with their opponents finishing a total of 99-157

No, he's not - but he still has the career completion percentage record and it chaps my ass.

NFC East and AFC North but I guess you forgot them.

    I said "defenses."

Yeah but he'll never win another ring again, and the fact he couldn't get to the playoffs this year in a division that put a team with a losing record in the tournament is just sad.

I have no idea why Brees is still considered in the top echelon of NFL quarterbacks. Beat the Falcons first, bro.

You faced 4 in the top 10, and 7 that were in the bottom half. You played against a schedule that had an above average defense for a quarter of the games, an average defense for another quarter of the season, and a below average defense for half the season. You also played a majority of the season against teams with below average offenses. Yes, it was a great run, and if you lost that last game of the season against the Giants, you probably would have won the super bowl. But the Pats wanted to pad stats instead. The very thing you complain about.

That's five teams in the top 10. Indy, Pitt, Baltimore, NY, Eagles.

50 TD passes before the fantasy-football rule changes, playing 5 top 10 defenses, including #1 and #3.
    Brady to Moss.

    Don't hate, appreciate.

    Deep breaths..

Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak, a former Broncos quarterback and longtime assistant coach, will interview for Denver's head-coaching position this weekend, according to league sources.

John Elway can go fuck himself.

He's not even good as an HC. More conservative Fox-type bullshit and brings an offense that a 39 year old who can't move will struggle to run. Ugh. Fucking Elway. god.

I appreciate what they did. It still wasn't the greatest set of opponents seen in a regular season but we all know you can't get your mouth off of bradys cock for more than 5 seconds to realize it.
