Edgar Wright: still doing things with sound and editing that hacks like Nolan can't even dream of.
This movie SLAYED
Fucking amazing.
Yeah, the use of sound in this movie was amazing.
This was exactly the kind of action movie I like; lots of fast-paced action without relying on explosions or brainlessly mowing down extras and personal stakes that make sense in the story rather than the world randomly being on the line. The whole thing felt like a throw-back to the slick action movies of the seventies.
yeah this was pretty much a less funny hot fuzz, in that it's an incredibly well made homage to the genre. man i love hot fuzz and i love this movie. ilu edgar wright
See personally I found Hot Fuzz to be the weakest of the three of the cornetto triliogy. Either way have my ticket for Tuesday and really looking for to this. I fucking love Edgar Wright.
I know I'm in a minority but I loved World's End.
Fair enough.
Enjoyed every damn minute of it, from beginning to end.
Spoiler: show
Just got back from it. Great fucking movie. People weren't kidding about the sound either. It's great music, that part is obvious. However listen to to the sounds and how everything syncs up. Was taking special note of that because it was mentioned here. This is a very well made movie.
Third act was not great
