Am I the only one who doesn't really think Jason Mamoa is a great actor? Like yeah he seems like a cool dude but he isn't someone I get excited for.

Cool, I didn't know DC got Sony AND Disney's permission to get Green Goblin and Jango Fett in this movie. Looks pretty solid.

If you want to see a big, dumb action movie with good CGI(shocking for a DC movie), you will probably enjoy this. The visuals pop in the movie as Arthur and Mera travel to various fantasy lands. The action scenes are not muddy like in previous DC movies, which certainly helped a lot. The costumes are great as well, very comic authentic.

The downside is the story. They crunched so much into the 2 hours and 20 minutes that I felt it very difficult to connect to any of the characters. Arthur changes from his gung-ho self(see Justice League) to more responsible in an eye blink. It is pretty jarring. Mera and the secondary characters are all one dimensional. They did not make me care about anyone for even a second which made the climax dull

Overall, it's like a 6.5 out of 10
