remember just because you never heard of her, does not mean she isn't famous. I learned the others day there are people much older than me who never heard of singing in the rain, so anything is possible.

Also, typing that brought me to an interesting (to me) question: Is it okay to refer to someone as the incorrect pronoun if, at the time you are referencing, it was the correct pronoun? For example, when referring to her past fame, would it be acceptable to use he? not sure i'm explaining that right, but the prompt was i was going to say "i hadn't heard of him" because up until this announcement i would have been hearing about Bruce.

Truth be told, Miss Jenner's reasons are for her to know and her only. It's noone elses business what her perogative is, and she doesn't have to tell anyone squat. I could see a person doing this because they want to inact chance and try to make things better for other people who are going through a similar instance in their life.

I'm sure Kuro agrees, it may come off as harsh, but I don't care. What Miss Jenner decides to do in her life, as with any other person on the planet, has no bearing on me. I wish her long life and happiness, as I would do to anyone else I know. Even assholes that I don't particularly like.

I would imagine this is a case by case type of thing though I think it safer to call the person their current pronoun if/when you aren't sure. Looking at the vanity fair preview I would assume Jenner almost considers "Bruce" to be a different person, and when the interviewer talks about the past Jenner is a "he". So I would imagine in this case it would be ok.


I forgot to mention, Bruce started doing things like wearing women's lingerie back in the 80s. So this is definitely something she struggled with for a long time.

Yes, this has been driving me absolutely crazy the last few days. There are numerous different ways to be a hero, giving someone else the title doesn't diminish someone else's heroism.

And Caitlyn looks gorgeous and at peace. I hope there are some transgender youth/teens/young adults who see these pictures and recognize that it does get better.
