Democrats - Nothing to report, Hillary still mid 40s, Sanders mid 20s, no one cares about the rest. First Democratic debate tomorrow, so maybe we'll see some changes. Definitely expect more attacks on Hillary after the debate.

Republicans - Trump (27%), Carson (21%), Cruz (9%), Rubio (8%), and Fiorina and Bush (6%) are the top five.

Probably for the best for Hilary. Bill already garners waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more attention than she does just by being around (like in 2008), and essentially he would be subject to possible gaffs and any attacks from Hilary's rivals if he was at the debate. It was a good move by the Clinton campaign team.

For the best for Hilary to distance herself from both Bill and their daughter Chelsea on the campaign trail.

I'm sure that's what the conservative side of America is thinking about tonight's debate. I'm not sure if its just the case with Hilldog and the fact that her husband has an 18 Charisma score, but I'm finding it funny that it's the better political move for her to distance herself from Bill and Chelsea when other candidates are encouraged to play up how aweseomely close their families are.

Yeah, it's a losing fight for Hilary Clinton, but she has to assume the center of attention first and foremost.

It's really just a special scenario in-so-far that not only was her husband our 42nd President, but also charismatic as fuck, both on the trail, during his Presidency, both pre & post Lewinsky. He also became a decent philanthropist to top that off after his Presidency. In general he was a pretty damn good president (Top 10 in most people's books), morality aside.

You simply cannot beat it, especially as the wife. It's a shame that Hilary's biggest obstacle from a memorable legacy is her husband, but at least she has it better than Jeb Bush right now, lol.

I would like nothing more tonight if the moderator(s) ask a stupid personal question that has nothing to do with policy and have Sanders interject as to how asinine the question is and force the moderator to move on to a real question. This would almost make up for all the shit I've put up with so far this year in politics. My moment of Zen.

If he exposes the moderator in such a manner it like in this video it would be just great -- I see it as unlikely. However objective CNN will want to seem, they are currently center-left as an entirety, so doubtful that any attacks or rebuttals will happen with the moderator. Hopefully they will instead get him and Clinton to engage on rhetoric. We'll get to see Sanders attempt to move towards the center and Clinton further left. Sander's is pretty brilliant and on the ball when it comes to the economy, he can go toe to toe with anyone on those topics and with anyone else on the GOP side. However, he does go overboard with blasting the "top 1%," something that never goes well with moderates.

I'll also find it interesting if they lob a Gun Control question at Sander's way -- essentially it's his only weakness as a liberal (Vermont has some of the most if not the most lenient gun laws in the country).

I don't know what made me think I could watch something with Michelle Bachmann debating. It is nothing but her yelling over everyone, interrupting every 5 seconds and not answering a single question. Oh wait, after the third time of Wolf asking her, she answered one question. I am very irritated after having watched that. It is a prime example of the behavior of many republicans in our federal congress.

Considering in the last day or so there's been shit like Palestinians getting on buses in Israel and just stabbing/shooting anyone they see or playing "How many people can I run over in my car", it's pretty much a cycle of shit-happenings either way.

Haha, sorry about that. Wasn't my intent and purpose to show Bachmann's dumb ass, only about how Sanders can stay on message, push facts, & disarm his opponent in an obviously stressful situation.

As an Independent, I also get irritated at how Republicans act. Many of them have some very good ideas on balancing the budget, but get caught up in name calling, ad hominem, and other pointless distractions. If it makes you feel better, Bachmann left in disgrace over fraud, lol.

Far as the Democratic debate? Looking forward to it. Sanders can literally set the entire tone of the 2016 campaign for the Dems in one good showing here, and I think he's got the chops for it. Plus, it gives a couple of decent Democrats (like Webb) a chance to say something on the national stage.
