All people effected negatively every single day by the lack of a cheaper and more efficient source of energy, arguably more so since people regularly die in the north during winters due to not being able to afford to pay for heat.

If you want to do a surface-level comparison of the nation's quagmire on energy independence versus a black-and-white issue of millions of people sitting in prison for an herb + the millions who can survive/live healthier lives from legalization, be my guest. You think the gap between where we are as a country with medical marijuana can save/improve more lives than affordable energy to keep families from freezing to death in the winter.

That is pure fucking kool-aid logic. The measurable and accepted health benefits of MM exist, but are few. Pain management is not on the same fucking scale as not freezing to death, sorry. This is where you are scientifically illiterate, thinking marijuana will save millions of lives.

You want to call the energy crisis a quagmire and then say the issue regarding medical marijuana is black and white.
