honestly, not only did he show how terrible he is at being willing to kill a baby, but if you COULD travel back in time... there's plenty of other options you could do. like i dunno, raise hitler up right? move him and his family to another country so he grows up in a better setting, or at least never gets the opportunity to become a leader? heck, he showed interest in painting, why not encourage that instead?

Hitler wasn't a terrible person because he was born evil. a lot of terrible things happen either because people are corrupted by life experiences, or are simply misguided. hitler unfortunately hit the calamity jackpot of lots of power and luck to go along with his faults.

Just goes to show he's not made of the right stuff to lead a country if he can't even think of a creative solution to impossible hypotheticals. stuff no one could've foreseen or imagined can and will happen during ones presidency, and you need to be flexible and imaginative enough to deal with the unknown when it happens, without dragging the country down with your solution.

I don't think politicians have the luxury of forgetting about people "not worth caring for" when it comes to getting votes.

I will give credit to the Nebraskan republicans who got rid of the Death Penalty because they took their pro-life convictions beyond abortion. But you're fooling yourself and trying to fool me if you tell me that most republican politicians do that.
