DNC is backpedaling the fuck out of this one. Access will be restored to Bern camp tomorrow. Guess they were full of shit the whole time. I'm so surprised.
DNC is backpedaling the fuck out of this one. Access will be restored to Bern camp tomorrow. Guess they were full of shit the whole time. I'm so surprised.
Because they got fucking called out on it and stirred the fucking Sanders bee hive which netted him more time and gave the DNC a blackeye.
I wouldn't say they are full of shit, Bernie's camp acknowledged that their staffers committed the breach and fired one of them. As long as the DNC is confident that no shenanigans took place with the accessed data, access should be restored ASAP.
Yeah... the DNC is full of bullshit on this unless they provide better details. This is a hit job on Bernie's campaign and both the DNC and Hillary's campaign should be ashamed of themselves for turning something that should've been resolved in back channels into an embarrassment for the party. If the DNC wants me to believe that things are on the up and up, maybe don't schedule your debate on the Saturday before Christmas and your next debate for the Saturday of an NFL playoff game.
Yeah, I'm sure the DNC mind-controlled a now-fired Bernie staffer to access the Clinton campaign's data.
You missed the part, again, that this was not the first instance that the DNC's beloved pile of shit had failed to secure campaign data and that the Bern staffers had to tell them to fix it. Once again, they had to document the vulnerability/glitch because their data was at risk as well. Bernie's voter info data is arguably more valuable anyways; Clinton's grassroots efforts involve holding as many private dinners and shoveling cash at every pollster and ad runner as possible.
Yeah, they're so full of shit! I mean, it's not like the Sanders campaign admitted that four staffers downloaded data or anything.. Oh wait..
Second, the amount of people who seemingly don't understand what political parties are, both in the media and here, is pretty hilarious.
And third, acting like Hilldog's campaign is to blame for this is laughable, at best, so stop it. And also plays into the notion that people don't understand what political parties are..
This borderline concern trolling at this point.

The software company maintaining the database, NGP VAN, said that the Sanders staff was “able to search by and view (but not export or save or act on) some attributes that came from another campaign.”
DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz told CNN the Sanders campaign had “nothing but bluster” to make their case, adding that the ban was imposed to make sure they could not “manipulate” the data they accessed. It's amazing to watch the DNC's incompetent, yet brazenly open nature of making playcalls for Clinton throughout this whole process go right over your heads. It's almost as if there is still some irrational bitterness still harbored from a few months ago when people had the audacity to publicly support an ethically and strategically superior candidate.Wasserman-Schultz also compared the Sanders campaign to someone who entered a house through an open door and stole things.
Speaking to CNN and MSNBC on Friday, Uretsky said he was trying to document the extent of the breach, since this was not the first time it took place. The campaign’s actions amounted to leaving “a sign on the door that the door was open,” Uretsky said.
Yeah, I don't understand why the DNC would favor someone who has been a Democrat for more than 5 minutes.
Rnc fucks with trump everyone laughs. Dnc fucks with Bernie, unleash the hounds
Did Hillary make this whole thing happen? Who knows.
Was this a targeted attempt to hurt Bernie? Quite likely. VP of the security company is DWS's nephew. The CEO of it worked on Hillary's campaign, and we all know DWS did as well. This is the very establishment corruption and circle jerking that is the reason why politics is shit.
Comes out right after Bernie is trending with his record breaking 2 millionth donation, too.
First up Agrabah. Next, Never Never Land.

I like that more than 50% of Democrats responded to the poll believing it was a real place (19% would support bombing Agrabah, 36% opposed), vs. 43% of Republians (30% support, 13% opposed).
But this part:
disturbed me. I do not buy into Islam being a religion of peace, but the Muslims most likely to want to come here are those who want it to become a religion of peace. And I 100% wholeheartedly and adamantly reject the idea of any kind of database of Muslims. That is terrifyingly wrong.About 54% of those polled support banning Muslims from entering the United States and 46% support the creation of a national database of Muslims in the United States.
One in four of those polled by the PPP said that Islam should be illegal in the US and that they support the US policy of Japanese internment during the second world war.
"Downloaded data" is an incredibly vague term. According to the vendor that is in charge of maintaining the database, this did not happen in the way it was first described, and the intimation that the Sanders campaign suddenly has the keys to the kingdom of Hillary's voter lists sounds like an exaggeration at this point. What's unclear is whether or not this vulnerability has occurred in the past, whether it was reported to the DNC and not addressed, and whether or not the Hillary campaign was able to access other campaigns' data as far back as 2008, because there are people claiming that this bug extends as far back as then. Again, why was this taken public and blown out of proportion when it could have been addressed internally first? Why is it being made public now and not 4 months ago or 8 years ago when these issues were raised by other campaigns?
I'm not trying to say that the Sanders campaign did nothing improper here. We don't know yet. If they had reported this several months ago and were assured that it was fixed, and saw that the problem was not fixed and wanted to document it, that is an entirely plausible scenario. But you can't sit there and tell me with a straight face that the response of the DNC and the Hillary campaign to this wasn't a complete overreaction and completely unnecessary. Suspending Bernie's access to his own data did not make logical sense -- if the DNC is unsure to what extent data can still be accessed by other campaigns, why would they allow the Hillary campaign to still have access but not the Sanders campaign?
It's like when people find massive security vulnerabilities in companies like Facebook or AT&T, and when they try to bring it to the attention of the company they get dismissed, so they go out and document the issue or expose it to the public, and all of a sudden they are made out to be some malicious hacker when in truth the companies were acting irresponsibility by not securing their data.
The role of the modern RNC and DNC is not to tip the scales in favor of one candidate over another. The fact that the DNC chairwoman has structured everything possible to protect Hillary against a legitimately popular candidate who has more credibility on many progressive issues than she does shows that the DNC does not want a real debate over who their nominee should be. This is what turns a lot of people off from politics in both parties: the idea that their representation is being subverted by a pre-ordained outcome. Even most Bernie supporters don't expect him to win the nomination, but they're not expecting Hillary to dig her heel into his head while doing so.
The hypocrisy of a campaign calling out in public what should be a minor internal issue when their own candidate set up a private e-mail server in order to skirt FOIA is laughable.
I'm just tired of seeing people who act like supporting someone other than Hillary is some flaw in judgment, as if she is going to fix everything wrong with government and it's wrong to even have a debate about it. It's that kind of hubris that turned a lot of people off from her in 2008 too.
He got access back already.

In a statement issued late Friday, the DNC said Sanders' campaign had complied with the DNC request to provide information amid its investigation.
“Based on this information, we are restoring the Sanders campaign’s access to the voter file but will continue to investigate to ensure that the data that was inappropriately accessed has been deleted and is no longer in possession of the Sanders campaign," the statement said. "The Sanders campaign has agreed to fully cooperate with the continuing DNC investigation of this breach.”
They really had no choice. DNC overstepped its bounds in suspending access and got called out on it. Also, see how easy this would have been to resolve without turning into a big public spectacle the day before the debate?
Guys, this was clearly a huge Clinton/DNC plot involving mind control in order to prevent the Bernie campaign from accessing crucial data during the vital mid-December Friday to cripple his campaign and finally allow Hillary to steal the nomination she couldn't possibly win fair and square!
It's true, mind controlling Bernie staffers does take a lot of work.
