Superdelegates deciding the nom to the opposition of the delegate count would destroy any chance of winning the general, the losing side would be bitter as hell.

Yeah, pretty much the same as I've said. Superdelegates has never been a major influencing factor anyways, they always fall in line with the normal delegate counts. This election cycle is truly interesting, because the DNC doesn't believe that Sanders is electable in the same way that the RNC doesn't believe Trump to be electable.

On the other hand, with the way it's been going, that's going to mean tremendous amounts of energy for whoever gets the GOP nomination. Love or hate, the current environment has been getting Republicans politically active in droves.

i was one of those folks thinking Bernie wins whites (mostly young white liberals) and no one else, and Iowa and New Hampshire were deeply and misleadingly favorable for that kind of candidate. he'll be competitive or win all states where the electorate is 90%+ white, he's going to get manhandled down in Dixie where the Democratic Party is a black and brown party, and the whites they have are more conservative

The interesting thing here is that Sanders actually (literally) walks the walk and talks the talk. Given, I'm in Virginia, but my co-worker's a 60something African-American grandma. Sanders > Clinton to her because the whole "honesty" thing actually got a lot of traction, plus he's just plain authentically interested in the issues she's concerned about.

Clinton was endorsed by the professional Black Caucus, whom do virtually nothing but ride the coattails of protesters who shout until their lungs burn, then do nothing or say nothing that would put their jobs in jeopardy. I'm so shocked.

Maybe Sanders can get the head of the black misleadership class, Al Sharpton's shining endorsement? I would see that as a net loss for him, though, he has already gained the respect of the most prolific black progressives. Sharpton's popularity is in the toilet these days, I wonder if even low-IQ voters still respect him.

The democrat side seems like a huge Old vs New politics. I'm kinda prepared to see a Republican president if the democrats can't get their shit together (As was the case with 2014 and seems awfully likely with how many republicans have come out to vote in the primaries.)

I was telling my mom the other day that if Bernie wants to win the black vote, he needs to start getting black churches to liken him to Jesus Christ. A socialist Jew who rants and raves about justice? Who has a huge problem with money lenders? Sounds like Jesus to me.
