Democrats: No real change -- Hillary and Sanders still at the top, O'Malley is tied with newcomer Webb for third (with 1%), and Chafee is in fifth.

Republicans: Bush and Trump are still the top two, Paul and Carson are tied for third, and Jindal, Graham, Fiorina, and Pataki don't make the cut for the first debate.

(Based on the latest national poll -- CNN/ORC)

According to the poll I saw, Hillary is ahead of Sanders by a very wide margin. Saying Sanders and Hillary are top two is like saying, at this moment, Sanders has a chance lol.

I mean, I've said repeatedly that no one is going to stop the Clinton Machine, but I'm just passing along information! Also, if we wanted to be totally honest, Hilldog is still poling over 50%, so I think we can all draw some similar conclusions.

Even if he doesn't get the nomination, I'm still writing his name in on my ballot.

No problem. I usually vote third party every election anyway.

Not like it matters since MA goes Democratic every gorram election no matter what.

While I'm sure this won't happen, I will be quoting you in a fit of rage if MA goes red this year. Not that it will, but I mean rarer things have happened yes?

    First, ftfy.

Second, as someone who sees voting as an irrational activity which is a massive waste of time, I'd like to reiterate my frequent point that you're better off spending your time making a sandwich or taking a nap rather than voting,

There are not enough people who prioritize making sandwiches, damnit!! Why don't more people realize the importance of making sandwiches!?

I wonder how long this deficit in sandwich making has existed... Maybe since 1920?

The real problem is no one wants to address the issue. Have you heart a single candidate bring it up so far? No, of course you haven't! The closest we've come was the story about Hilldog eating at a Chipotle, and even that was miles away from a story about sandwich making.

    Spoiler: show
I plan to continue to run with this as long as humanly possible.. Or till next week.

Fuck Chipotle. Although, if I were to choose overpriced Mexican food, I did enjoy a free Homewrecker burrito at Moe's one time when I was doing day labor at some bullshit outdoor mall in Zephyrhills.

I always vote Democrat, I live in Texas, and I used to be a Manager at a Deli and was declared a sandwich genius. I'm actually eating a ham and provolone sandwich with Hotter than hot Zapps crushed inside.

    Come at me!

The other day I made a sourdough grilled cheese sandwich, using havarti and kerrygold skellig. It was incredible.
I also took a nap, because I'm sick with a nasty sore throat and I wasn't able to focus well enough to do a proper MNK rotation on XIV.

And I support Bernie Sanders for the democratic nomination.

But see, that's part of the problem right there. You made a sandwich "the other day," so you don't think about future sandwiches. What about tomorrow, or next week, or a month from now, or next November? Can you say for sure that you're going to make a sandwich on Tuesday, November 8, 2016? No, you can't, because it isn't a priority to you.

Also, in response to Dimm: First off, fuck the Spurs. Second, while yes, voting Democrat in 2008 or 2012 did not impact the national election, they did have an impact. Namely, they contributed to the effort to turn Texas blue. If I remember correctly, Texas Dems are aiming to turn the state blue by 2020 (although I imagine the voter disenfranchisement, I mean registration, laws will push that back). McCain only won 55% in 2008, so it is not unthinkable, and the closer the Dems get, the more money and national attention will be on the state.

However, voting for a candidate who is not even on the ballot is completely wasting your time. It's not like people can look at it and say, "Okay, in twelve years, we're going to turn this around for our candidate!" You might as well vote for your favorite sandwich instead.
