We'll be a better country when we collectively realize that both sides are full of shit and we start electing people of conviction, rather than rhetoric, and actually hold them accountable, instead of spinning away the parts we don't like.

Looks like Cruz and Carson have their first, real issue they can lead the battlecry on as candidates. Turns out that Planned Parenthood may be illegally selling fetal tissue obtained from abortions to medical research facilities. This is of course causing a massive uproar in the anti-abortion side of the table and enabling more attacks on Hillary for having so much support from the organization.

Any video I've seen trying to catch them talking about it so far has been edited to leave out the whole Legally Donated part. The Planned Parenthood story is a couple weeks old at this point. Apparently there were huge protests yesterday because a bunch of pro life idiots believed a heavily edited video instead of watching the full video for context. It was a brilliant video though, so well received that people on both sides of the aisle felt a need to speak at the #womenbetrayed rallies. It's fucking sad that people take obviously ridiculous shit such as a "black market for baby parts" at face value without trying to immediately look into it.

But "Planned Parenthood is selling dismembered aborted babies on the black market" is a damned sexy headline.

It's nice to dream about a President with conviction, but when you actually come back to reality, you realize the people with actual conviction get no traction at all (Lindsey Graham, Bernie Sanders, Rand Paul) in comparison to people who sell themselves to the corporate machines (everyone else, minus Trump, this includes Clinton). Conviction is lost when you cozy up to the corporate machine, and the machine invests in you to protect their regulatory policies on business.

Whoever spouts the best conservative rhetoric will get the most contributions, and whoever gets this (and the Koch Bros in pocket) become miles ahead.

haven't followed the whole planned parenthood thing but why not let them investigate? if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to hide, any company should always be willing to open up to any type of investigation especially to squash any negative PR.. this is simple logic for anyone with any business knowledge.

Go for it. But why not investigate you and everyone else while we're at it lol. They don't have any evidence of them doing anything wrong, nor any cause for concern. Why are we wasting time and resources on investigating someone that gave us no cause?
