They've already done that with a lot of stuff already. They are gonna have to come up with something new sadly :-/

So there's that. :/ So technically, he is as much eligible to run for president as was Obama.“As Congress has recognized since the Founding, a person born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent is generally a U.S. citizen from birth with no need for naturalization. And the phrase “natural born Citizen” in the Constitution encompasses all such citizens from birth,” they added. “Thus, an individual born to a U.S. citizen parent — whether in California or Canada or the Canal Zone — is a U.S. citizen from birth and is fully eligible to serve as President if the people so choose.”
Also, Rafael's dad also fought along with Fidel Castro. So that means he was raised by communists. LOL
While it's true for both Cruz and Obama, it's going to be funny to see whether the xenophobic hate machine that is the Republican Tea Party will even comment on this when it's their own candidate assuming he makes it to the nomination. Honestly I don't see it happening because it would just cause themselves to self immolate .
Ted Cruz is just selling hopes and dreams on idiots, just like every GOP candidate before him. It feels more like a Joel Osteen sermon than a presidential bid. Those kids were even required to attend that bid. What exactly will he do to accomplish these lofty dreams is any ones guess.
Meanwhile, the Democratic and Independent Liberal isle see this speech like this as if it's a kick off for [white] people to step back up into hyper conservatism.
It's just so sad that people are so willing to drink the koolaid of the GOP base and be disappointed every single time. The GOP establishment will destroy this dude anyways. Not while Jeb Bush has a chance.
And who doesn't love watching an implosion of a political party?! I forget, how many Tea Party candidates were up for the nomination last cycle?
So many bro, so many. Ron Paul, his son Rand Paul, Michelle Bachmann, Paul Ryan, Herman Cain, Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee (lol), Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Tim Pawlenty, plenty others for Senate and House. I always find it interesting that the Tea Party seeks to overstep GOP Establishment when it's pretty obvious to anyone who follows politics that they need to get a pass from the establishment or they wont have a chance in hell at becoming President. The good majority of the establishment itself being old money GOP who got both Bushes and Reagan elected.
I have a feeling that Ted Cruz knows he's not going to win, but he wants to set the stage for the topics that the GOP will be destroying each other on. I also have a feeling that in the coming weeks & months we'll now see Rand Paul come out with his own Presidential Bid. He'll also have a few jabs for Cruz on his way out of the gate as well. Meanwhile Jeb Bush is going to coast and watch a few bids happen before he comes in flamboyant and shit.
Do we have any clues from the Dem side other than Hilary at this point? So far we have Ted and Jeb on the Repub side.
Bernie Sanders had been itching to run Dem since he knows it will be near useless to run Independent. Also everyone and their mothers want Elizabeth Warren to run as well.
She said she's not going to though didn't she?
Edit: Same question as Dan..
Guess there's our answer.
My body is ready for a Julian Castro and Cory Booker ticket.
That would be awesome. I'll my money behind Booker, the real life hero mvp.
How viable a strategy would it be for Warren to simply wait for more congressional incumbents to die of old age?
Not very.
What Kuro said. They're probably very well taken care of since they're some of the only people who get free health care on taxpayer dime.
