How so? The primary is favorable grounds for him where the fringe of the left that supports him represents a much larger % of eligible voters. His whole problem is that once you get to the general you start having people that are actually scared of socialism.

The third miracle being if being any legislation being changed during his 4 years. If he doesn't get democrats elected/re-elected hes going to do nothing for 4 years. Hes going to have to change a lot for the general if he plans to win. He has to start raising money for more than just himself.

Not really correct. Hilarys foundation is raising tons of money for down ticket races. So yeah there is a huge difference. You don't change the composition of the house/senate without funding peoples campaigns.

I'm not convinced Bernie would lose the general if nominated. I think he'd have a tougher go than Hilldog but the Republican candidate isn't going to be in a strong position either.

Getting any legislation from his platform passed by Congress or winning the nomination would be much more difficult feats than winning the general.

3) Trump values loyalty over pedigree or effectiveness when it comes to bringing people on.

4) Trump has no real policy adviser.

5) Trump has no pollsters, media coaches, or speechwriters.

6) Trump himself is the chief strategist on the team.

7) Paul Manafort was brought on in anticipation of a floor battle at a supposed contested convention.

8) Trump has a Wall of Shame of the candidates he has vanquished on his campaign wall.

9) The same wall has a rendering of a wall between Mexico and the US, drawn by a supporter.

10) Trump writes his own one-liner punch words (ex: Lyin Ted, Little Marco, Low Energy Bush, etc).

11) Trump has been plotting a serious run since before 2012 (had people on as advisers since 2014).

12) Trump knowingly and deliberately uses divisive, racist, and misogynist language to play to the lowest common denominator of voters.

13) Trump has dirt on FOX founder Roger Ailes, which he uses to pull strings and mud sling with the company.

14) Trump hired actors at his campaign announcement -- each paid $50 each to listen to him, cheer, and wave placards.

15) The amount of free press and wall-to-wall coverage that Trump has been getting since the start of his campaign is worth about $1.9 Billion (and counting).

16) Ivanka isn't happy with her old man's campaign because it's damaging her personal brand.

hey bud the reasoning may not be ideal but the premise is sound. Hillary is by far Bernie's most formidable opponent and if he were to defeat her his most Sisyphean task would be behind him. think he'd decisively beat Trump, be a slight favorite over Cruz, and he'd be a dog in the very unlikely event Kasich emerges from the wreckage of Lincon's party. in a normal election year he would be too liberal to throw against a moderate Republican but Cruz and Trump are both deeply flawed candidates, either one would be the worst presidential candidate the Republicans have put forward since Dole. indeed if we go by favorability ratings among the general populace and the historically small share of the Republican electorate he's convinced to support him during the primary process Trump may well be the worst general election candidate in modernity. and Cruz is the guy losing to him.

After reading the article 3 times (once high) over, I can say with absolute certainty that he's brilliant.

I no longer have anything bad to say about the man. He's the guy playing in 3 (or even 4) dimensional chess, and everyone else is just playing (and viewing) the 2D show.

10 million only so far on ads. He's basically all in on Instagram and playing off the social media at least 5x harder than 2008 Obama.

Even the way he's campaigning is a legit scheme. For one, he prefers stadium packing rallies instead of going to and fro between cities and districts. He requires people who go to his rallies to sign up by e-mail -- the same email the he turns into his own free voter list that he's been using to not only keep his people up to date on what going on in the campaign but also to turn out voters at each state. I mean I must tell you that is fucking brilliant, if you consider how much these candidates even pay for their own voters lists.

Even the shit he's been saying this entire time has been Trump simply being a caricature of himself for the masses (and media) to eat up.
