You could quibble with the margins, maybe she could win Arkansas since she's a Clinton, maybe Texas is out of reach unless she has a Hispanic VP, maybe Georgia would be in play, but she's not going to win 50, or even 40.

You're not taking into account a Hillary campaign with nothing to focus on but beating the single republican candidate. Right now shes fighting from all sides, but once they get focused? Woooo I can't wait for these debates!
Ok, let's not turn into Berners now. Hillary has poor favorability numbers. She has weaknesses. She's a woman. I think she's going to beat Trump soundly, but 40+ states is ridiculous and not supported by the polling.
this forum has lost its medium setting
If Trump doesn't win it, we'll have Palin round 2 inc:
http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/27/politi....html?adkey=bnTed Cruz will name Carly Fiorina as his vice presidential running mate Wednesday, according to two sources -- a last-ditch move to regain momentum after being mathematically eliminated from winning the GOP presidential nomination outright.
Fiorina VP picks looks more like a desperate attempt to play towards Indiana than a Sarah Palin set up. Also a desperate attempt by Cruz to regain some of the spotlight, now that Trump is clearing the path to 1,237. This also hypothetically sets him up as "prepared" going into the RNC convention.
If he loses this gamble on May 3rd, we'll see Cruz and Fiorina go very swiftly into the night the day after. Keep in mind this is his last chance at anything in politics -- there's no way on heaven or earth he'll be reelected for his Senate position (or any elected office that's outside of Texas local), and this is likely his very likely his only chance at the Presidency.
It's very foolish of both of them to pull this off -- this makes Cruz look very weak to everyone involved in the Republican party when he's millions of votes behind the presumptive nominee, and makes Fiorina look like the ultimate idiot for coupling herself to a sinking ship.
I just meant in terms of the ridiculousness of the VP pick (both in terms of the quality and the logic of "I picked a woman, women should vote for me!"). It's completely desperation -- Cruz is clearly hoping picking Fiorina will win him some votes with women which will keep Trump under the 47%(?) of delegates he needs.
I think Trump might scare me less than Cruz + Fiorina
That's a bold statement.
I'd prefer President Trump to President Cruz for sure.
The thought of Cruz as president is outright terrifying, infinitely more so then Trump.
Trump is definitely the lesser evil compared to Cruz. He may be loud and panders to the base, but Cruz holds some terrifying views. Add Fiorina to that mix and holy shit.
That is about the worst play towards Indiana Cruz could make. One step above Carson. All of the people I know in Indiana that are voting Republican are voting Cruz just to screw Trump. And yeah, Cruz is not getting reelected lol. He's only marginally better liked here in Texas than elsewhere, which isn't saying much.
I do love me a game of "pick the lesser tentacular horror" but not when the stakes are this high.
Q: Why would Cruz pick Fiorina as running mate when she hasn't even won an election?
A: "Ted Cruz" + "Carly Fiorina" = "Certainly R Zodiac"
Certainly U R Zodiac*
"This is a fight worth fighting (Which is why I dropped out)!"
Wtf, why is she singing?
