All of that troubles my soul. I don't hate her or anyone for that matter. I want to see an amazing woman become President of the United States, but if doing so requires me to go against many of my own core beliefs, I'm just not sure I can or will do it.

Eh. Worst case we get Trump. People reap what they sow. If people want to put a republican in the white house, supreme court justice pick, and possibly a majority in house or senate, then that is their prerogative.

No progress towards climate control, healthcare reform, increased wages etc. for potentially another decade seems pretty dumb. I say potentially, as if Trump wins it is equally likely he could self destruct in 4 years and throw dems the next election.

The biggest change this week is /r/Politics becoming a Donald Trump Sub since all the Bernie Bros are fuming. Sanders apparently cut his campaign staff today. Trump sounded presidential while reading off a teleprompter. People saying they will vote for Trump because hes "less corrupt". Can't wait for the Trump vs. Hilary debates when there is no teleprompter to fall back on when being asked actual policy questions. What a time to be alive.

He's only been eliminated from the first ballot; he hasn't been eliminated in a contested convention.

He is pulling out all the stops.... Hes doing anything and everything to try to prevent trump from getting the nomination. Since Trump doesn't do well with Women, I don't see how this really changes anything. It does make me wonder if he did manage to make it to the general if he sticks with her though. (I assume he would, since it seems they are very close, which I guess? explains why him/his pac sent her a bunch of money while they were competing with each other)

Up to now, you generally had to actually be going to the general election before you chose a VP. If Cruz loses Indiana after this, hes going to look like a huge buffoon.

I got into an argument with a friend of mine today who swears he's going to write-in Bernie during the general. Enh. Generally, maybe, but Reagan announced Richard Schweiker as his VP in '76 to try and swing moderate/liberal Republicans to his camp. It didn't work, but it's not all that unprecedented.
