Checkmate, economics!
internal screaming
Man, can't wait to buy a loaf of bread with a wheelbarrow full of useless money.
It's 0 percent true, because if we do print money like that we will be worse off than if we defaulted.... It would essentially be a default in everything except the name. I can't believe people want this lunatic to lead the country. He doesn't have any concept regarding the economy, the government, or any foreign policy. He doesn't even know what the parts of the government do, and the power(s) the president even has.
It's the same shit when hes says we are going to bring all the jobs back to the US. I'm sure hes completely unaware with how much debt China owns of ours, and how if he did do that, they would likely try to make us "pay our dues", essentially crippling our economy.
Because the people that vote on policy positions are vastly outnumbered by people that vote strict party lines, for personality, or whether they think they'd enjoy having a beer with the candidate.
Can't wait to have the wheelbarrow stolen while my millions of worthless dollars get left on the sidewalk.
Can't wait for sacks of money to be thrown off the back of a truck come payday so the workers can scramble to the nearest store and buy food before the prices treble again.
Can't wait for the country to elect a charismatic racist with serious issues with Middle Eastern religions.
Trump is doing Weimar Germany backwards. It's practically performance art.
Honestly of all the things you could pick from Trump that are worth criticizing, that particular statement is not really controversial at all to anyone who understands just how much money the Fed has been able to pump into the economy through QE under recent policies.
..."easing"
The US is not even close to the level of debt-to-GDP ratio where that would even be a remote concern. There's a much, much higher chance of defaulting on the debt because of morons in Congress refusing to increase the debt ceiling than any serious impact from any kind of inflationary monetary policy. On top of that, China wouldn't be able to make us "pay our dues" without trashing their own economy in the process. Literally the only plausible scenario of debt becoming a problem is if we spend too much on new wars and continue this mentality of low tax / low spending budget austerity that we've been in for the past 6 years.
None of you guys read the fucking article
Seein this float around
